Revlon ColorStay the Normal/Dry Skin Formula SPF 20....I 1st use my La Roche Posay Serum SPF 50 then apply my foundation over top.  The SPF in foundation alone is not enough to do the job of true sun protection.

@Dazlin   I have normal skin and I use Bobbi Brown  Fluid Powder SPF 20 (use an SPF moisturizer too).  I am a fair/light pink undertone.  I love it because it is light coverage which you could build to medium.  I like it light like a tinted moisturer look. $40  It lasts forever.  I recently purchased when BB had 25% off but I still need to finish the old one.  This is for normal to oily skin tone.  If you are dry, it won't work out for you.

I recently tried Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint SPF40  on the advice of a Sephora mua. I went in with DD intending to buy nothing- because I need nothing! LOL! OK, so that happened and I came home with it. I really like it for the lighter coverage it gives me, but it was definitely a learning curve for me!

I usually wear Josie Maran's untinted sunscreen every day, even if I stay inside and put no other makeup on. If I'm going out I use primer (Spackle) on top, then my foundation. 

When I wear the skin tint I put it on bare skin. I'm not used to that!

@Shanus - Can you tell me what you think about this brand and this particular item?

I use several products that have spf not just foundation.  And I have a couple foundations I like to rotate....

1. Dior in the cushion compact is spf 50.  They have some different shades but the the lightest, is very little coverage.  It's more of a skin perfector for someone with good skin to start.  I really like my skin with this one.  I don't use the sponge it comes with.  I use a brush or a beauty blender sponge.

2.  Bare Minerals has spf.  I can't remember the #.  I wore Bare Minerals way back in the Leslie Blodget days with Lisa Robertson and monthly TSVs.  I eventually got on Bare Minerals overload and moved on. 

Funny thing is, as I have been focused on clean and cruelty free beauty (DIOR is not).  But Bare Minerals is. 

So now I am back into the products.  I really like them.  I used their website to find my shade.  It suggested fairly light, which is perfect.  I am super happy with this foundation again.  I use an IT Cosmetics brush to apply.  

3.  Jose Maran Protect and Perfect tinted argon oil.  This is spf 47.  It's a little orangey for me straight out the bottle.  But if I mix it with primer, it's a nice light coverage for me. Great for no make up days but want something... This I put on with my fingers.

The primer I use and always seem to come back to, even though I keep trying others, is hourglass spf 30.  Also apply this one with my fingers.  It is hands down the best one.  I buy over and over.

Where do you get the hourglass spf 30?  All I could find was 15spf.  I would like to try that.

Good morning @beach-mom. I haven't used Ilia foundation. I can say when I use my tinted moisturizer (Bobbi Brown which has spf and better coverage than most tinted skin tints, etc.), I do put my serums, moisturizer and SPF underneath. 

The learning curve is getting used to a skin tint if you've always used a foundation w/ more coverage. I have a concealer to touch up any spots or redness around my nose, etc. This way, I only get coverage where needed and skin shows through everywhere else.

YENSA Beauty spf40 was recommended on another thread and I am very pleased with this product. The texture is very light and looks very natural and skin like on. I love the beautiful flawless finish. It's buildable to full coverage, if desired. Light medium is a perfect neutral match for me. The reviews are very good. To watch the video see this but note shades are limited in this brush combo...

But additional shades without the brush are available here

YENSA is only available here at the Q, Nordstroms or the YENSA dot com site, which also offers the foundation and concealer in travel or try me sizes in all shades.

Hi new to the boards although have been following for years.  I use the Ilia skin tint.  I have sensitive rosacea skin so physical SPF is a must.  The coverage is nice, minimizes any redness and gives a nice slight glow.  This is a clean beauty brand.  Their concealor , mascara , color sticks and lip tints are also great.  If interested they are having a holiday special on  now.

I use a foundation with SPF to protect my skin from the blue light in my screens. It’s not all about the sun. I use IT Cc cream mixed with IT bye bye foundation .
