WHAT AM I DOING WRONG....TARTE AMAZONIAN CLAY BLUSHES

I LOVE MOST THINGS TARTE! I have three of the Amazonian Clay Blushes and they are so flat on my skin. They are not complimentary on my skin at all and are almost drying. I am in the minority, I know. I still prefer the cheek stains over the powder clay blushes. I love the texture of the bouncy blush that came in the last TSV and I can'twait for my next auto delivery in July. Has anyone else had this experience with the powder blushes? I want so badly to love them!!!!!!!
