@bargainsgirl  Yes, I wash my hair every night, after I ride my exercise bike, along with showering.  I go to bed clean to help control allergies, plus I sleep better from the relaxation of warm water.  I have always washed my hair daily, it's baby fine and straight, and goes completely flat at the least provocation.  Did you have a specific concern in mind?

I have fine aging thinning hair and WEN is great day one but falls flat day 2.  I don't like to cleanse my hair daily but just wondered if WEN was gentle enough to do so.

I was tempted by the re-moist duo. I love that stuff and it's a good deal! My hair is super dry, coarse, wiry, puffy, with cowlicks, too of course- 🤣🤣. Always trying to DECREASE the volume!  I can only wash it once a week or it's like hay. I like Wen, because it doesn't strip the oils- Kind of genius, IMO.

@bargainsgirl   It is absolutely gentle enough, in fact I think it improves the condition of the hair when used more often.  Another thing to consider is the water quality.  I think one reason my hair goes flat is that I have very hard water.  I can't fix the water, so I find products that work with it.  

You mention thinning, have you tried the WEN scalp tonic?  It is working very nicely for me, I don't want to ever be without it.

@CamilleP  -  I ordered the Beauty IQ Steal duo.  I'm happy to have 2 remoist jars.  However, I've never tried the tonic before.  I'm just going to use it on the front of my scalp.  

How is it working nicely for you?   What results are you seeing?

@San Antonio Gal  What I see from the tonic is more hairs sprouting, either from previously dormant follicles, or more than one hair from any active follicles.  I went through a period this spring and summer when my face was covered with eczema patches, all of a sudden, and I had no idea what I was suddenly allergic to.  So I went back to a really basic routine, stopped using any retinol, all the WEN products, switched to different moisturizers, tried to switch up everything.  I then tried adding stuff back in, and quickly discovered that what was causing the problem was Philosophy Purity Made Simple, after they changed the formula to make it "clean"!  Once I stopped using it, my face cleared up, and I went back to using everything I had stopped earlier.  My part had, in that 3 month period, widened noticeably, and was certainly sparser.  After about four months of using the tonic again, it's filled in nicely, and there are still new hairs sprouting, the 1" to 1.5" ones just stand straight up for a while before getting long enough to lay down and blend in with the longer hairs.  Every once in a while, I look in the mirror and chuckle, remembering the "Alfalfa" character from the old "Little Rascals" movies.

I was also wondering about Wen.  Chaz is not on the air nearly as much as in the past.  I have been using the cleansing conditioner for years and love it.  I was my hair twice per week.  I have color treated hair.
