I went on Amazon and purchased WEN Conditioner, but it doesn't have the same label on the bottle as the one I got from Q. Is this a knock off product?

It is probably the genuine product but I have read many posts about knock off products being sold. The best place to purchase Wen is qvc, GR or Chaz's site. From what I understand, although most are genuine products, you are still taking a chance if you don't purchase from these sites. If you are looking for the discontinued seasonal scents you would have to purchase from these other sites and may indeed not be purchasing the genuine product but can't really be sure.

Compare your label to those used on the WEN sold through GuthyRenker. The GR labels are different than the labels on WEN sold @ QVC and on Chazdean.com.

I would HIGHLY advise NOT to purchase Wen from G-R. If you do not cancel within 30 days, they will automatically re-order Wen for you, to the tune of $65 or something like that.

I have heard horror stories of how difficult it is to get off the auto-mail and to get refunds from G-R.

Was Yuban, then changed to Plaid Pants due to forum upgrade, and apparently, I'm back to being Yuban.

Your bottle is probably taller and has a label with less sharp artwork. It is probably from Guthy Renker. It is the version sold in Sephora. Look at the label on the bottom at the back. It probably says Distributed by Guthy Renker and has different countries listed. The formula is made for export, so the ingredient deck has to be a little different.

If you check the feedback of the seller, as well as the product description, that will give you a good idea of whether the product is authentic Wen.

GR is my primary source for my Wen products. They offer better prices and free shipping to members. If you order from them, you are on auto-delivery and easy pay. You can cancel anytime through the automated system. Their customer service is awesome, and they try to keep their customers happy!

Yuban, OP ordered a GR product from Amazon. There are no issues with that. The infomercial deal is not available through Amazon, although you can find the GR kits.

I also had good luck with GR, cancelling was no problem. It took a couple calls to get a kit off the bill that I never received, but that is not unusual and they did take it off. Just be aware they don't always carry seasonals, and they don't carry 32s or oils.

I am sold on buying from Amazon so when I saw this post I read the replies. First I do not use WEN but I do use AMAZON. I have had nothing but good luck from them in good times and in bad.

Just a quick comment. Only twice did I have a problem with a product sold from a Vendor using Amazon. One was the wrong item and when it arrived I called Amazon immediately and the seller called me within two hours and made it right. The second time the product I bought just did not work. Same story, the vendor called and made it immediately right. I never had to return anything. The new items were in the mail.

I think Amazon makes it clear to its sellers they better make the customer VERY HAPPY. So I would think that buying Wen from the Amazon source would be a safe bet or at least you could get lots a great help making it right.

Bonnielu, you are right. I order oils from Amazon and never had a problem. The CCs don't seem to be cost effective. I had a problem with an SD card and it was fixed right away.
