WEN & perm

I have never heard Chaz discuss the Wen Cleaning Conditioner on permed hair. Mostly he talks about hair that is color treated. I am thinking of getting a perm but a friend who is a hair dresser thinks it will take the curl out of the perm. For any of you that have permed hair and uses WEN I would love to hear if it has taken the curl out. Thank you for any answers.
