Vixter, I have a tree question.

Hi Vixter, I saw that you were here so I need some tree advice.

I have this big rock flower pot connected to the front of my house that I can't fill with dirt and plants because of siding and foundation issues. So, I want to put some wood barrels with some kind of evergreen shrub in the barrels that will live a long time. My climate is similar to yours, I think, but not as cold. Is there a really hardy shrub type plant that will live for a long time in a barrel? Thanks
