@goldensrbest  - Check out the post "How Important Is It" just a little ways down in the forum.  It has lots of Vit C informaiton in it - different kinds of Vit C, different brands that people use, etc.  You might find the info in that post helpful.

@goldensrbest - there's a current thread where this is being discussed.  @SilleeMee has a good chart that talks about the various forms of Vitamin C. I have been using the oil form (THDA), in The Lab Direct Power Punch Serum, based on her recommendation.  IMO, it's not oily in the skin.  It's not going to do anything for wrinkles but will offer antioxidant protection, and help with clarity & brightening.  You need other products for wrinkles and dry skin.

Oil of Olay makes a nice cream with vitamin c--not at all sticky. They sell an almost sample size for around $12. It looks real small but last a long time IM0.

VC serum needs to be applied daily, usually in the morning to clean skin first thing. So, with that in mind, the cost can add up over time since it's being used everyday. I suggest picking a price range first and then go from there. I've seen VC serums priced very high and also very low. Look for one that isn't going to drain the wallet if you want to keep using it. Look for one in a container that protects it from light, an amber-colored dropper bottle preferably.
