I have a chin length, semi stacked bob and each time I wash my hair, after I blow dry it, I use velcro rollers.. I'm frequently asked how I get my hair so full looking.  When I get it colored and/or cut, my girl uses just a blow dryer and round brush.  My hair looks tons better when I do it myself. (my stylist says so too)

I have thick hair and do exactly the same to help keep volume on the top, especially the crown. I found Conair velcro rollers at CVS and velcro is attached to a light metal base, rather than plastic, so I dry my hair, put in the rollers and apply heat with my dryer which heats the metal to act as a curing iron, spray lightly with Kenra 25 hairspray, get dressed then remove and comb out lightly. Also put a few large ones on the sides to help smooth out my wavy hair.

I have never used velcro  rollers I have long hair so I never thought they would work. I am  intriged to try this method. How long does the curl stay in?

I use these too, but NEVER use the ones with metal bases they cook the hair.  Be sure you buy ones with plastic bases.

I use them but they don't work in my hair if I just blow-dry it and pop them in.

I have thin, fine and poker straight hair.  I have to blow-dry my hair using a round brush then put in the velcro rollers, spray my hair, hit it again with the blow dryer then I do my make-up and pull them out.

Most days I blow dry my hair, flat iron it and pop a few rollers at the crown for extra lift.  I also use the velcro rollers on second day hair.

If I just blow dry my hair so it's all straight, the velcro rollers do absolutely nothing for me at all.  They give me no bend, curl or lift.

I use velcro rollers every day.  I have shoulder length fine hair.  I wash everyday with WEN and blowdry, take a section, tease it alil, hairspray at the roots then pop the rollers in ...hit it with alil more of the blowdryer and let them stay untl I finish getting ready.  Gives me alot of body and no damage (like you would get from a flat iron etc) 

I stopped using curling irons and flat irons about 2 years ago...my hair was a total mess and in bad shape.  Now I love my hair! lol

I sometimes use velcro rollers in the winter to wet set my hair - I put them in wet hair and sit under a hood dryer.  The rollers smooth out my naturally curly hair and gives me bouncy hair with volume on top.

I have short hair and use 9 on the top of my head.  Without it my hair is too flat and I've never mastered the metal brush - blow dryer combo my stylist uses.  Same steps everyone else said.

I loved and used Velcro curlers. I used about 6-8 large rollers when hair is almost dry. But then, sadly, I found a lot of hair in the velcro, so I stopped using them. Now I use Perfector, l inch, and get about the same results, minus any loss of hair. But I still miss my curlers. I might buy some new ones & give it a try again.
