I hate to break it to you, but women grow older and lose hair just like men. It happens as soon as in the late 20s.
My mom's hair is considerably thinner at age 63 than it was at 40. She doesn't use WEN.

Do you mean the individual hairs themselves have become thicker or do you mean that there are more hairs coming out of your scalp now? I can't see how any product could create more roots on the scalp than already exist. Or perhaps some of the hair follicles have died through the years and they are rejuvenated? Can anyone explain this?
Perkup, I've been using Wen exclusively for two years now and I'd say it's all of the above for me. The tea tree line especially has helped rejuvenate my scalp so the hairs grow better and faster--you can see when I need my roots touched up much sooner when I use the tea tree oil/cleansing conditioner. Plus, and it is the gods honest truth, my hair is thicker from root to tip like in the demo Chaz does. My hair was very very much finer at the ends and was breaking like crazy before using Wen--but now my hair is truthfully as thick at the end as at the scalp...BUT, I have given up all hot tools and pin up my hair at night. I can't say my amazing hair is just from using Wen--I had to stop using the damaging styling tools--Other people may be fine with them, but my hair is very very bleached, so it tends to be fragile anyways--but giving up heat and using Wen has made my hair very long, very thick--I am constantly getting comments on it, and people who've known me for years have said some very positive things about how my hair has changed for the better since starting using Wen.
I'm not here to try to sell Wen to anyone--it's totally up to the individual if they feel Wen is right for them or not--I'm just saying that Wen--the products and the instructions how to use them and how to keep from damaging your hair--all that has made an absolutely amazing difference in the quality, density and everything about my hair...Wen girl for life!!
Perkup, I don't think that anyone means to imply that tea trea oil is some mystical, magic ingredient that just *poof* suddenly gives you a full head of hair.
I've has similar results to chickenmoo:
* before TT CC my hair grew at a snail's pace. It was like watching paint dry... for months at a time. I just never needed to get my hair cut. One month after I started using TT CC my hair grew one inch. And it's been growing like crazy ever since then. I get it cut much more often.
* My hair is almost as thick at the ends as it is at the base of my scalp. I used to have very sad, thin wisps of hair at the ends of my hair. Not any more.
* Tea tree oil is a highly respected anti-fungal and anti-bacterial agent. Dandruff can be caused by an overgrowth of fungus on your scalp and TT keeps it in balance.
* Tea tree oil is an emulsifying ingredient which loosens the dried sebum on your scalp. So the TT CC washes this excess body oil down the drain and allows your hair follicles to breathe more easily. Healthier hair follicles mean a healthier head of hair.
I've seen how my hair has benefited from Wen TT CC and it's part of my cleansing routine.

I'm very glad that Wen has a TT Treatment oil. I can use that, but won't be able to use the TT CC due to the wheat. I need the clarifying benefits on my scalp of the TT though. My follicles seem to get easily clogged for some reason.

I use Wen 1-3 times per day and my hair has never been better OR THICKER. I am willing to bet that your thinning is caused from something other than wen.

I don't know ur age. ....but I am 60....I have always had thin hair and at times I would start to really have hair coming out....it would grow back... but it started again , I believe hormones and change of life is my prob.... I started taking Puritan's Pride vitamins for skin, hair and nails.....the biotin in it is what helps the fall out....it is a B vitamin..... it helps my hair not to fall out like mad.... I would not go without these vitamins....my sis has same prob. and stress is always a big factor... I have a handicapped daughter and went thru divorce and I was going bald !! So maybe try the vitamins for hair.... u can buy online or purchase biotin at walmart or other store....just make sure u take it with ur meal....helps it to absorb .....good luck....also I am a Wen girl..............
