Using WEN before a salon appointment

I have an appointment next week for a perm and then an appointment in early November for highlights.

I searched the forum and find that many (most) of you do not take WEN to your stylist. Okay, so I won't do that... But I'm curious: do you use your products differently just before or after these kinds of salon treatments?

The only products I have are what was in the recent TSV, which made a believer out of me.
