Using Coinstar to buy cosmetics

Usually I dump my saved coins in the Coinstar machine at grocery stores, and use a receipt that day to buy groceries. But I have learned you can get an amazon gift card instead and save yourself the fee. I love amazon for cosmetic sundries and also food treats.
