Update on V!!

Good morning everyone. I had a message from V this morning and oh, my...she really needs our prayers. I won't go into lots of detail because I don't know how much I should share but here's the "Reader's Digest version".

On the 5th she was supposed to go to the surgeon to get her staples out and DH couldn't get her to respond well enough to get there. So....she was in ER with some lung problems AND the docs found she has a fungal infection from her surgery. The infection wasn't MRSA but it's all over her lips, inside her mouth, down her throat and in her eyes. It was possibly transmitted from someone caring for her that didn't wash their hands.

Next Tuesday is the target day to get the staples out and hopefully get a cast. She's been working on strengthening her ankle.

She says it's hard to sit at the computer because of pain but she asked me to let you know it's been rough for her. Keep praying! She misses us I am sure.
