My skin is a true medium with neutral understones. In the CC Cream I wear medium and it does have yellow undertones but I do find that I can still get away with it. Once I apply a finishing powder, it seems to tone down the yellow.

I second Tricolor opinion, I am a light medium and have to go medium because light is too light. I have to blend the CC cream with another foundation to get a more neutral finish (usually BE's serum in bare natural) but its worth the effort because the coverage and finish are so nice!!

Personally, I'm picking this one over tarte in Feb-I don't know full details but I think that tsv will feature the foundcealer and I don't think that product looked good even in the demo! Not tempted. (thank goodness!)

Re: Upcoming It Cosmetics TSV...help!

Irish, my skin is a bit more yellow than pink but has a little pink as well. MakeUpForever light sand (maybe 120) is a good match. If you can go with fair, it might work better color-wise. It fair is just a little too light for me and makes me look even paler. I can use it, or light, but was hoping they'd bring out more shades.

Isn't the new TSV coming with a Finishing Powder? Maybe I can pull off the Medium with a FP? Tell me Yes!

The Tarte one has a new foundcealer (glass jar with dropper), two brushes (one double-ended), lip gloss, gifted mascara, and a compact with 6 shadows and Amazonian clay blush.

Re: Upcoming It Cosmetics TSV...help!

Go to ULTA. They carry the IT line and you can test the products. I recommend you go with light the fair is VERY fair, almost albino actually, at least on me. I use the light CC cream, let it dry down a few minutes then use the light celebration foundation on top, applying with a fluffy brush. The original celebration foundation brush drops too much product and makes it look too dry on my skin. Using the fluffy brush made all the difference for me. I find using Urban Decay makeup setting spray really helps with the powdery look and keeps it fresh most of the day. I have some yellow tone to my skin and I personally find the light runs yellow and matches my skin. I love this line and cannot recommend it enough.

Ugh! I Know, I got my insider on line today, and saw the Tarte TSV, and now I want them both! They are completely different and I love Tarte shadows. This is not good for my New Years resolution. I love all the brushes in both kits as well. I have to give this some thought!

Re: Upcoming It Cosmetics TSV...help!

If you live near an Ulta, they carry what appears to be the entire line of IT Cosmetics. Go try on colors there and see if ordering from QVC is a better deal. Most of the time, QVC includes IT's awesome brushes instead of a separate purchase at Ulta. You can explore a lot of the makeup lines QVC sells (Mally, Laura Geller, Tarte, Smashbox, etc.). I think they can do a shade-match on you.

I returned the Celebration Illumination makeup and got the CC instead. I like it a lot, but I like Laura Mercier's Smooth Finish Flawless Fluide just a little bit better. Tried Laura Geller's Original Spackle today for the first time and love it!

Let us know what you find. Happy shopping!
