Re: UPDATED: QVC Beauty Event Day - January 17th

@SilleeMee QVC corrected the online information. At midnight, qvc showed 180 days on the website.
They must have had a lot of calls on this and corrected it to be 90 days.

I was able to use a discount code I received in the mail. 20% for a maximum of $50. Total is $452.

@Shaunac

Thanks. That's good to know and that 90-day return policy beats the Currentbody website's 60-day.

@skittles2 - I set a NuFACE reminder on my phone for Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday nights. I prefer to do the sessions at night while I'm watching tv. Sometimes I miss a night because I'm too tired, busy etc. I just do it the next night and push out the remaining schedule.

My approach to NuFACE sessions is just like I do for a physical workout (weights, Pilates, walks or the gym), aiming for 3 days/week. I can tell when I miss a week of either or both objectives. It's a lifestyle.

Adding this CurrentBody treatment is only 10 minutes extra that I can easily do after the NuFACE or maybe I should do it before NuFACE?

I'm excited to get this mask‼️

@Calibeach I made a point of clicking on the Extended Return Policy to expand it and printed the page for my records.

@Icegoddess - I also took a photo of it and I posted it on this thread, copied from the product page.

I thought the show was good. Have a question about how to clean it which we can discuss tomorrow when others are back. The vendor rep mentioned using "hypochlorous acid / HOCI" to sanitize it after each use. I have no knowledge of this disinfectant.

@Calibeach Sorry, I didn' t notice that.

Really, the only reason I would be returning it, I think, would be if there was something wrong with it.  I was doing RLT earlier and did feel I was seeing some results in the form of softening of some wrinkles.  In other words, the muscle wrinkles recovered more quickly.

I don't think you can ever get rid of wrinkles caused by muscles.  Botox only keeps them from being used and thus keeps them from getting worse, so a faster recovery after use is the best I think I can expect.

It was just so cumbersome and time-consuming doing it the way I was since I had to do 2 sessions to get my full face.  And it was uncomfortable.  So, I think the mask will be much more comfortable and I won't be tied to a cord.  It's not that I expect to be doing things while I'm using it. But, I can still sit up and just close my eyes and relax them for 10 minutes.

Qvc changed the product page to 90 days.

@Shaunac  Yes, I see that it has been revised to 90 days. It's still a good window of time to test it.

@SilleeMee Do you use your mask more than 5 days a week?I have not because i read you need at least 2 days off..Is that correct?

@Sparky3333

I use mine 5-6 times weekly. I never read about about taking 2 days off. It's my understanding that you can't over-use a red light mask but doing so isn't going to do anything more than the recommended 3-5 days weekly.

During the midnight show the vendor rep said she uses it daily and that the manufacturer told her that it should not be used longer than 10 minutes daily. Not because it's harmful but that it's not necessary because there is no benefit to using it longer than 10 minutes

I'm going to start using it 3 days weekly for a couple of weeks and then I might increase it to more days. It's hands free and you can move around while during the treatment

@Calibeach

Yes. You can move around but since the red lights are so bright, it makes it difficult to see anything clearly. Just a word of caution.

@SilleeMee thank you for this info. The vendor said she loads up her dishwasher while using it. 10 minutes is a short time so just sitting a relaxing is no big deal

@SilleeMee  how do you clean your mask? How often and what do you use?
