Tweakd Cleansing Hair Treatment

Tweak-d Above the Clouds Self-Cleansing Hair Treatment

Ordered this product from HSn in a 4 pack special (Above the Clouds, Peaches and Cream, Wild Apricot, Tribal Chocolate). Very different way of applying and using the product. Supposed to apply to dry hair from mid shaft to ends, wait 5-10 minutes, wet hair, apply more product to scalp and massage, rinse thorouhgly. Seems to have really dried out my hair. Has anyone here used this and have any suggestions?

Re: Tweakd Cleansing Hair Treatment

Hi @TamiT28  I have used this with fair results. It doesn't come close to Wen for me.

When I use it I apply it to dry hair & wait a few minutes then get in the shower and wet my hair, pretty much rinse it out like for a first cleanse & then do a Wen cleanse & my regular leave ins.

I've tried some other co-washes, usually only one time, and on a day that I'm not going anywhere Woman Surprised nothing compares to Wen for me Woman Wink

Just received the same kit.  I tried the chocolate one with good results.  I put a couple of drops or Argan oil in my hair after.

Re: Tweakd Cleansing Hair Treatment

I found that the Tweak'd cleansers in the tubes thick and hard to get out, especially when your hands are wet. I ended up having to step on the tube with my bare heel on the shower floor in order to get the stuff out as the tube was slippery when wet and hard to squeeze with my hands. I added water to the thick paste to thin it and apply it and did not follow directions because i have long hair.

It smelled good - Denis should come out with a fragrance line - but I wouldn't buy the cleanser again.

No co-wash, nor shampoo helps keep my hair color at the roots either as I have porous hair that grows fast.
