Is it a face firming serum?
Please let me know?
The claim is: Ethylhexyl-bicyclooctane, commonly known as ethocyn, is a small molecule and can thus easily be absorbed down as far as the dermis. However, while his molecule is believed to raise elastin production levels to young adult years, concrete scientific evidence is lacking.
The presentations always included models specific to the brand who had applied the Ethocyn product to only 1/2 their face. Not sure how you get models who want to walk around forever with half their face treated. It was a long-term product, not a temporary one that can be washed off.
That is what made me notice the product. I was flying somewhere and looked at "Mall in the Sky" magazine. There was an ad for Ethocyn and product was only used on half of the model's face. I could not believe the difference in the model's face.
Then I saw a presentation on HSN with Polly Bergen. I had bought her makeup previously and thought her products were nice. So I figured I would give it a try. It was the only product I have used on my face except for a cleanser since I started buying it many years ago.
It didn't really hit me how impressed I was with Ethocyn until I visited my cousin a couple of years ago. She is 10 months younger than me. She is similar in coloring to me. She noticed my hands. She showed me her hands covered with age spots. I have 2 faded age spots on my hands. And how smooth my hands were. Then she was commenting on our faces. She is the closest person I have to a twin and I was surprised at the difference in our skin texture and look.

@drizzellla , I found this as part of the lawsuit against the guy I mentioned earlier. This was part of point #4 in the case:
In June 2003, the Defendants entered into a supply and distribution agreement with Nu Skin International Inc (“Nu Skin”) whereby BCS agreed to supply Ethocyn to Nu Skin for its use and distribution.

Thank you for the information.
When I got the email and found out that Ethocyn was closing it's business. I spent hours trying to figure out if another company was producing Ethocyn. Somehow I ended up at Nu Skin and I saw the machine thing and lots of products that they were selling and figured I was going the wrong way.
There was never any mention of Nu Skin from Ethocyn when they closed up shop.
Wonder who was producing the Ethocyn after June 2003. All receipts and shipping information read Ethocyn.

I would like to thank @Icegoddess and @Mindy D for your input. Thank you so much for your information.
@Icegoddess I had heard there were legal troubles years ago but did not realize it was such a mess. Sad the way things turned out.
Thank you for giving me the facts. Now I know where Ethocyn went. I appreciate finding out what happened to the company.
