Personaly I can not justify spending $$$ on a facial cleanser. There are so many good products for a lot less.
With my clarisonic and less expensive drugstore products, my face gets very clean. I always follow up with good products that work for me.

I don't think Purity is anything special. The do like the gel Purity better than the regular liquid soap. But it's not effective at getting eye makeup off, in my opinion. Unless you really scrub your eyes and who wants to do that?

The neutrogena liquid facial cleanser at my local Walgreens is $7.49....they always have $2.00 coupons out there so it usually runs me $5.49 and lasts me about two in a half months.
That is a good one, but I like the Neutrogena Makeup Remover Towelettes even better. They are better than the liquid, IMO., because they leave my skin feeilng soft & moist.

All of these products just listed are tried and true for many years. They are all good. For a cleanser I don't think it is necessary to spend so much. Of course if you need a Dr.s script for spedial needs thats different. Just find the right one for your skin type.

I agree 100%. That is what I do.

No I don't have special needs for a doctors script, just looking for affordable cleanser that won't cause break outs or make your face feel dry etc...

I'm glad you posted this, MeadowLark. I'm writing down some of these things to try, too. This came at a good time for me and leave it to all the ladies here to come through for you (and me, too!)

One I first heard from here was Cerave. People were also using their lotion and/or cream on the face as well and I was able to use it when my skin was on the drier side. I already have a stash of stuff or else I'd get the lotion now that my skin is more on the normal side and doesn't need as much moisture, but can say for dry skin the cream is great head to toe, and likely the lotion is as well. I do use Neutrogena make-up remover toilettes first if I have mascara and/or eyeliner on.

I have discontinued buying anything on auto-delivery. I used to AD the Smashbox and BE kits. The shipments would come just before the next TSV. Personally I'd rather try something new and it is hard to justify two kits within the same week. Occasionally I miss out on a deal, but overall I'm saving a ton of money. I also have joined two sample programs, Walmart and Allure. Those satisfy my need to impulsively try new stuff.
