thank you all for helping me out,I just went and cancelled my autoship and saved some money. Now what else can I say good bye too that I have on auto ship? have to think about that one. I have a few It cosmetic kits on autoship which i am not sure about, love my bare minerals and laura geller foundations but just not 100% sure on It cosmetics at this time.

I think a lot depends you your skin type and what kind of makeup you use. I really don't have an answer for you but will tell you that, some of the drugstore items mentioned, do not take off all my makeup like Purity does. I wear a medium to full coverage foundation and there is nothing I dislike more than to go over my face after cleansing and still see foundation on my wash cloth! That is why I stick with Purity.
I don't like spending a lot of money on a cleanser. For the last couple of years I have been looking for a dupe with no luck so I am reading these posts with interest.

Yes! There are several cleansing products at the drugstore that work just as well or better than Purity. Neutrogena, Olay, Aveeno - all make excellent cleansers.

Why do you not want to keep it? neutrogena and phisoderm are always good products....I use the liquid neutrogena all the time. I have other products I use but I use it at night before I apply my skincare. It's gentle and my face feels clean. I will use a mineral water toner before I apply the skincare products.Cause my brain thinks I do 😃
But I really can't afford it anymore😞
I thought Purity was too expensive too till I did the math. The others are $10-15 for 4-5 ounces. If you add that up to 32 oz it's actually much more expensive than Purity.

Clinique mild liquid facial soap works really well on getting makeup off...6 oz for around 18. Used it for a long time until I found a dupe at Wallys for more than half that price...Equate Beauty mild liquid facial soap. It's behind the counter at my local Wallys. I like it because it removes all makeup and it doesn't burn your eyes...but I use it lightly there anyway.

It all depends on your skin and needs. I tried Purity and didn't like it. Obviously clean skin is important, so a good cleanser is necessary. I think there are lots of options in the drugstore that can work. I like Olay Sensitive Foaming Cleanser the best, but I have used others. I think SPF moisturizers and treatments products make the most difference in skin care.

I never liked Purity, it smelled awful to me. I always found that interesting, since there are so many great Philosophy scents. I don't use the line anymore due to changes in the products.
The drugstore has some amazing cleansers that work really well on the skin and your pocketbook.
My favorite is CeraVe Moisturizing Cleanser.

Purity is expensive, but the 32oz size, as previously pointed out, does come very close to being equal to buying multiple bottles of the 8 and 12oz $10-$15 cleansers in the drugstore brands. It's when you buy Purity in the smaller sizes comparable to what you would buy at the drugstore that you pay much more: $36 for 16oz; $24 for 12oz; $15 for 4oz.
I like Purity and it works very well for me, but I cannot in good conscious say that there aren't other cleansers at a lower price which work well on my face. My dermatologist loves Neutrogena. A point to consider when buying drugstore brand cleansers is that discount coupons are plentiful (via magazines, circulars, online from the manufacturers, etc). I buy CeraVe Renewing SA cleanser and have yet to pay full price for it. I always seem to have a coupon, or it may be on sale at Walgreens, CVS, or Ulta.
