Anytime I've smelled open IT products at TJMaxx, they all smelled rancid and IT products don't last long at my TJ's.

I don't know people put that carp on their faces!

I learned the same thing about Josie's argan oil, even if I kept it in my fridge, it still goes rancid in no time.

Just my opinion based on my own personal experience.

I also had a bottle of Argon Oil go bad .... and I'm positive that the problem wasn't due to leaving the bottle in an overheated room.

It killed me to throw it out, but the smell was bad ... what can you do?

Weird, I've been using IT "carp" on my face for years.  I've never had any of it even hint of rancidity.  In fact, I've never had any product in a pump go rancid.

@LuckyA  I agree that companies should be truthful.  Since you brought this up I would love to see your proof.  It's just as bad to accuse someone without concrete evidence.

That's why I don't buy ANY beauty products at TJ Maxx or similar retailers. Products get opened. Also you have no idea how long they've been warehoused before hitting the discount shelves.
I use and like many IT products which I purchase from their website

My opinion of IT Cosmetics just took a huge tumble seeing them sell their 2022 Holiday Beauty Book like it's a new version when in reality it's the exact shades/colors as last year's. The only difference is the color of the book itself changed...oh, and the price went up ten bucks. Woman Frustrated

Re: Truthful statements

[ Edited ]

I don't know that IT did anything deceptive with this year's holiday book.  They didn't claim it was all new.  They just called it the 2022 edition.  The shades have the exact same names as last year.  I'm disappointed in it, but I don't feel deceived.

In all fairness, last year's version was essentially the 2020 version with the addition of 3 lip colors.  I think the lip colors in the book were completely useless.  I don't use a lip brush and wouldn't haul that book around for touch ups.

Whatever the product Courtney or Shawn are presenting "is all they use". I ignore them both.  IT foundation is the worst I've used, thick & cakey.

What’s the deal asking for proof? @brandiwine What proof? Everybody is entitled to their opinion. If you want proof, go look it up and come back with the facts.

We have a handful of posters demanding proof. We aren’t writing a dissertation here. We don’t need sources or proof.
