TruSkin is a GMA deal today.  Just wondering on the Vitamin C Super Serum, do i want Retinol in my Vitamin C?    I always use my C in the morning, why do I want to use it with retinol?

I just asked this same question  to Pixi Beauty CS, they have an oil product that I have been looking at, it has C and retinol, I asked them about mixing the 2, and they sent me a detailed reply explaining why it is fine and they have done the research to support it.

@MrsCat21

What type of vitamin C is contained in the serum that you use in the morning? If it's ascorbic acid then that type may not be compatible with retinol. The TruSkin serum contains SAP vitamin C and that type is compatible with retinol b/c it is not acidic like ascorbic acid.

@SilleeMee  Do you use a vitamin c serum? If so what results have you seen?

@Janey2

Yes. I use THDA serum. I have used VC over the years as an antioxidant treatment. Beyond that I don't really expect VC to give me 'results'. For me VC is more about prevention rather than restoration.

I guess my question is more, why do I want to combine them?  If I use a VIT A at night I should just choose a VIT C that doesnt have Vit A, unless I just want to use one product that has both??

@MrsCat21  - I use a Vit C in the morning and a retinal in the evening.  Agree with you that why would you want to use them together unless you just want to use one product.
