It is very gentle and can be layered with other products. My experience so far with the tria has been uneventful regarding dryness but I looked better before starting treatment.
SurvivedOne: liaise not liase (because you are so exacting and use this word so frequently I know you will appreciate the correct spelling)
Boy, that Burt's Bees SOUNDS soothing! I may pick some up -- thanks!

Persiflage, Thanks! The Burt's Bees cream sounds promising. I'll try to pick some up tomorrow. As for cucumbers, it's a great idea, but I don't have the time or patience to do that! Can you tell me about how you look different? I know that I'm my biggest critic, and I might see negative changes, while other don't (not the case with my eyes right now… it's really noticable!). Are you on week 4?
MidNight… thanks for your recommendation as well. I do like my Isomer's products, and I'll be the Ceremide is great! I'll try the Burt's Bees first, though, since I can get it locally and faster. I'm glad you're not having the same issues.

One week ago I started level 3 (I have used level 1 for one week and level 2 for one week without any problem) and after only two days at level 3, I developed a large swollen reddened area on my right upper cheek (under the eye).
I decided to stop using the Tria until it resolved. Sunday night a large piece of skin peeled off the area. Last night I resumed using my Tria at level 2. No problems today so if all goes well this week I will continue level 2 for the rest of the week and try level 3 again next Monday.
I hated to quit using the Tria for all those days but didn't want to aggravate whatever this was under my eye. Has anyone experienced anything like this from using the Tria?

Is it possible you didn't keep the laser moving, or that you treated that area with the more than other areas in that zone? If I experienced the negative side effect you've mentioned, I'd call Tria and discuss it with a CS Mgr. According to the information provided by Tria, it appears that what you've experienced did not occur during their clinical trial. Side Effects
• No severe incidents related to the treatment were reported
• Most common device related incidents were redness, stinging/prickling, and burning sensation
• Most (97%) events were reported as trace to mild and resolved minutes after treatment
lyn in MI, I was very careful to keep the laser moving but it's possible I had something else going on that the laser just aggravated. I'm having no trouble at level 2 and will definitely call Tria CS if it recurs when I go back to level 3.
I've only been using the Tria serum. Do you recommend using something else (particularly under the eyes) after the treatment?
