I think anyone "seeing" true collagen building results after just a week or two (or three) is likely doing some "wishful thinking" because the skin just doesn't re-produce collagen that fast. Possibly some are seeing inflammation which has been mentioned before here and that can be mis-interpreted with the swelling or plumping that occurs with it. Don't let that discourage you from reading and sharing with all the realistic Tria users as they make up the bulk of those posting on these weekly Tria threads.
There have been great weekly Tria threads for the first 5 weeks anyway and I think they have been of tremendous help to those who are using it currently or even those considering it. If any of them were deleted, I can only think that the problems many have had with their units might be at fault there yet that doesn't justify removing them, imo. Everyone has the right to be aware of any potential problems because, as you pointed out, this is not like the cost of a mascara.
If you do a search for Tria weekly threads, there should be at least 3 or 4 of them as I am not sure if they started right away or it was a week or two in before they began. Lots of good information in them and most were experiencing similar reactions that you addressed. If I remember correctly, a few have noted that most improvements and benefits don't really start becoming visible until after the first 8 weeks - during the down time.
Hopefully some of the active participants will see your thread and respond and you can share and compare with them. There are some really honest posters who have been very forthcoming with their experiences so far and believe me, they have been reporting very similar results to yours. I'd become familiar with those posters and follow their commentary as it will be more useful for you.
QVC should not be deleting any of the Tria posts, imo, as they have all had valuable information, even if they don't like to see some of the technical problems mentioned. They are a reality too and deleting posts won't make those issues magically disappear.

BTW lyn - how are your precious kitties? They are some of the most gorgeous cats I've ever seen. Just thinking about them when I saw this cute pic and wanted to ask. Hope all is well.

Oh Lyn, I wish I was nearby to hear all the kitty chatter that will be taking place at your home today. That's a whole bunch of kitty claws to do - are any of them a little co-operative? They really are a beautiful breed.
I don't own any kitties due to really bad allergies to them but I find them such fascinating animals. Between their physical abilities, which are amazing at times, and their chatting, I find them such an enjoyable pet. I have a little YorkiePoo who gets along great with the feral cat who resides in my complex. This cat follows us on all our walks which entertains all my neighbors enormously. She has done that for years as she started following when I had my sweet little male Maltese and he has been gone since 2011.
Our lives would be so empty without our pets, eh? When I buy on ebay and it states smoke and pet free home, I always think how lost I'd be without at least one pet. I used to have more but when I lost both my Malties, I have just had my one little guy now - and he is a little one. A real sweet little guy though.
Happy Clipping, sweetie!!!

I am on week 5ish of my Tria. I haven't seen any "collagen building" results so far. But my sister and I both, saw an amazing change in texture of our skin the first week. My skin is brighter and smoother and some days, I don't even wear primernow under my foundation. The sun spots on my face are lightening. The sun spots on the tops of my forearms are almost completely gone. I am a long time Palovia user and know from experience, the changes as far as collagen and wrinkle repair, come during recovery. There is a thread on here from someone who is almost done with her recovery period and she said going into the last week of her recovery, the changes are amazing. Her skin is the best it's looked in years. I know that one cycle is not going reach the results I am hoping to achieve, and I am fine with that. I made an investment into this machine, and you better believe I will be making it worth my while and continue using it. But so far, the changes I have seen in my skin, are worth it.

PS...here is the recovery thread. It was just buried back a few pages.
