Re: Tria: Week 9 / Recovery Week 1

Thank you shannara for that explanation. Now I wish I would've gotten on here and read that before I started. That makes so much sense.

So the way I'm doing it (5 on 2 off) my 90 days is gonna be up just when I finish the 12 weeks. They should've given us 120 days.

Wonder if I finished out this week with no days off would 3 weeks off be enough time to see a change.?

Thanks again. Now I'm pouting!!

Deb0360 - Eight weeks of treatment (no breaks) followed by 4 weeks of rest was the original protocol used when the Tria first came out (in other counties) and was used by many people in Canada. The 12 week protocol is what our FDA approved for sale here. MarenSeattle did a lot of research and read pages and pages of a forum from Canada.

There was a lot of discussion about this when we ordered and some of us decided to use the 8 week session for 2 reasons. One is that the global protocol was not changed to 12 weeks and many of us suspected that the FDA regulations were responsible for this change, not Tria. The other reason was that since the collagen production takes place during the rest period, we would have 4 weeks remaining on the 90 day return policy to see if we actually had improvements during this time. If not, we could still return. If so, we will start another 8 week session after the 4 weeks of rest.

Shannara! I was going to page you -- how are you? Did you decide to return the Tria or did you finish up? I know toward the end you were kind of vacillating so was wondering what you ended up doing.

Hard to believe the 8 weeks has passed, isn't it?

Hey Maren - How are you? Bummed out a bit here. I never contemplated not finishing the 8 weeks, which happened a week ago tonight. I did say I was starting to wonder what I would do about returning if I didn't see much in the way of results. Well, now I'm there. I've had a week off and am really not seeing "something" or anything. Five hundred bucks is a lot to blow if there are no results. I will give it another 2 weeks and if I don't see some plumping or lessening of my fine lines, I will return. Was really hoping that this was the answer. But, so far, no. If anything good shows up, I'll be here posting PDQ.

Re: Tria: Week 9 / Recovery Week 1

I'm on my second unit. It was HOT when I first got it, but not now… I've just finished week 3 with the new one. I'm thinking it's not going to be effective, but I'll use it a bit longer. I'm tempted to send it back and wait for them to work out the bugs. We'll see.
