I'm slogging along with my regimen. I missed my first night last night. The only changes I see right now are negative - sandpapery skin that the exfoliating just can't seem to fully remove, new upper lip line wrinkles, new corner-of-the-mouth wrinkle, and a complete marionette line on my right side where I had only a partial one before. I'm not sure what I'm accomplishing here, but I intend to stick it out until the end and I really hope I look like a blushing bride at the end of the four week rest period!

Ditto! Pretty much the same report, except once I apply my serums and creams, my skin looks just really good (next to the deep lines and wrinkles!). I'm cautiously optimistic we'll be very pleased during the Rest Period Reults.

8/4 protocol---32 days in, 31 days of use

Recently I found that my treatments seemed to be more of a breeze to do.

The last few nights, I wondered, what is different.

So I got a digital timer and wala, my level 3 was just under 2 minutes, not the stated 2 1/2 minutes, as it previously had performed. I checked it for 9-10 rounds with the same result.

I am mad, I will document more results prior to calling Tria. My interest is to have fully functional product, that behaves as promised, not a return.

The personal laser concept I believe, but the roll out of the product has been wrong from many levels.

Has anyone ever check the accuracy of the level times?

No, but I'll do it tonight

EDIT: I haven't noticed that it seems to be going quicker, FWIW.

Funny you should mention that. I did not not use the laser last night, but the night before it did not beep at the end of the first session. I was sitting there wondering why it was taking so long on area one, and it beeped twice. I was watching TV with the volume turned off, so I know I did not miss the beep.

I am having this off and on - noticing the lines more - and it happened with the Palovia, too. When I look up close, and pardon me for being gross, but it looks to be the old dead skin kind of drying up and crusting before it lets fully loose to reveal new skin underneath. And it holds on to whatever makeup I put on and the lines are emphasized. I'm fine with it because I know it will shed when it's ready.

Lyn I bought mine from sephora during their sale. My numbers are 510, I had no CD and I had the white folding charger. When I changed mine it took less than ten mins. When I called CS to activate, it was already activated!! That has not sat well with me that it was basically fully charged and already activated. They sent me a charger without even asking for one. I'm still using the original. I haven't had much issue. A couple times it will blink for quite awhile but then it stops. The blue battery light stays on while using, a solid light. Is that normal.? I've never tried to see how long a charge lasts but I do know I have gotten two treatments with out charging between. I think these have some serious issues. What problems are u experiencing?

Pardon, I responded to your question about acne on the Tria week 4 thread. Just letting you know because it can get tricky remembering where you posted what.

Well I just did my treatment and my first zone was 2 minutes. My last 3 zones were almost 3 minutes each. I kept thinking that each night the zones seem longer than 2.5 minutes and I timed it tonight and they are. And it looks like I am getting more lines on each side of smile lines. Maybe I have to exfoliate more! This is getting depressing and I don't know if I should send it back because the timer is surely not calculated right.

I haven't treated (so haven't timed) yet today, but I always wonder if, after the beep, I do an extra swipe or two before moving on if that eats into my next zone time allotment. Tonight I will IMMEDIATELY lift the device off at the beep. :-)

I also wonder how it affects the timing when I lose contact (I never knew how bony and lumpy my forehead is!

I'll post my "scientific" results. :-)

Lyn mine is 018.Replacement from Tria.

Maren i went to who i thought was a derm at the laser center and it turns out she is a laser specialist..Anyway she talked to me for about 1/2 hr and explained what i had going on..My neck is pretty much all red from capillaries.Have them on my chest to...She said its from sunburns, which happened when i was younger. She said the veins are like little workers that appear to protect your skin from damage and that it aws good they came!Lol..She said my skin under 4/5 layers of these is in good shape once they are lasered to get them to go away.So all the crinkly skin on my neck WILL go away!I am so happy about that!...Its gonna take 4/5 treatments at 300 each but will be so worth it once they are gone..I have to stop the Tria on my neck now for a month before i can start..I will get my chest done after the neck then my face.My face is not that bad so can wait...She also said a fractional laser cant get rid of capillaries, but it can help rosacia and that might be what people saw..I dont know.

I have read reviews where people had the laser done and there veins did not go away..Its because the laser specialist did not know how to do it right..It also important to have the newest lasers to..Thats why i am driving a good distance because this place is good.

Not looking foreword to being swollen and looking bruised for a week but will just think about how good it will be to see a neck with good skin and no red anymore!

MidNight - Thanks for the info. Was your replacement package sealed? Were the charger and cord in a sealed pouch in their box like your original from QVC?

I've had my broken caps treated before, and my derm advised me that the treatment would resolve them, however they could return. I was not bruised or swollen after my treatment. What type of laser is the laser specialist using?

I did not open the replacement plug box..I just kept my original one because i did not have a problem with it..I did call right after i ordered from Sephora requesting the new plug just in case,so i have 2.

The laser she uses is V Beam...I have sense read it came out 20yrs ago so its not the newest as she said..I have another appointment to see someone else who uses a Broad band light..I will decide which one is best after that..I really dont know much at this point. The gal i saw did tell me they could return if i get sunburned again..She advised to wear a hat as well as sunscreen when i am in the pool.

Well i timed my unit and just as i thought i do not get 2.5 min,i got 2 on the first 2 cycles then i got 2 and maybe 10 secs on the 3rd then i got 3 min on the 4th!..I really dont want to get a refund because i am seeing a difference in the texture of my skin and pores look better...I might ask for another one and hope it works right..I just dont know..I think my skin looks good considering what i am doing...My skin is not dry after i apply all my stuff.

What do all of you think about not getting a full 2.5 min?.Makes you wonder if the laser part of these are working as they should be?..It is really mind boggling a co can send these out with all the problems.Did Canada units have these problems?
