Hi lyn, may I ask why you are inquiring? Did you have issues with your laser?

Yes. I posted about it on the WK 4 thread. I was curious if anyone else had one from the same production run as mine. My SN starts with 512.

Lyn mine is 018.Replacement from Tria.

Maren i went to who i thought was a derm at the laser center and it turns out she is a laser specialist..Anyway she talked to me for about 1/2 hr and explained what i had going on..My neck is pretty much all red from capillaries.Have them on my chest to...She said its from sunburns, which happened when i was younger. She said the veins are like little workers that appear to protect your skin from damage and that it aws good they came!Lol..She said my skin under 4/5 layers of these is in good shape once they are lasered to get them to go away.So all the crinkly skin on my neck WILL go away!I am so happy about that!...Its gonna take 4/5 treatments at 300 each but will be so worth it once they are gone..I have to stop the Tria on my neck now for a month before i can start..I will get my chest done after the neck then my face.My face is not that bad so can wait...She also said a fractional laser cant get rid of capillaries, but it can help rosacia and that might be what people saw..I dont know.

I have read reviews where people had the laser done and there veins did not go away..Its because the laser specialist did not know how to do it right..It also important to have the newest lasers to..Thats why i am driving a good distance because this place is good.

Not looking foreword to being swollen and looking bruised for a week but will just think about how good it will be to see a neck with good skin and no red anymore!

MidNight - Thanks for the info. Was your replacement package sealed? Were the charger and cord in a sealed pouch in their box like your original from QVC?

I've had my broken caps treated before, and my derm advised me that the treatment would resolve them, however they could return. I was not bruised or swollen after my treatment. What type of laser is the laser specialist using?

A huge thank you to all of you who shared the SN info I requested. I wonder what their method is for assigning SNs and how they relate to production dates.

This short break is probably a good thing because I ended up giving myself an extra treatment (s) before I packed it up yesterday. My face is still a little red in some areas. I know I shouldn't have done it, but I knew I would have a few days off. Still enjoying reading this thread and everyone's experiences. Good luck Midnight on your office treatments!! Please keep us posted. Asltw

...CUT...

Last night after doing my TRia i put some Isomer serum in a bowl and preceded to use my Nutritone with the serums instead of a gel..I have heard Manuela say this will help the serums to absorb better and with just using the Tria the Nutritone will push the serums in to the open channels.I think Philip was doing this with another device thats simuler..I just moved it around my face instead of leaving it in one place.I do leave in under my eyes tho for a min.Hoping that will help my sunken eyes..I hate those and my DD thinks i need to get filler there but i am to chicken and the cost is a lot i am sure.!

MidNight - Are you sure Manuela said apply serums instead of the gel and not to apply them before the conductive gel? Isomers has always advised us over the years that we need to use the conductive gel, because the Nutritone is a 510 medical device and that their serums do not replace the gel.

ETA:. I just found this info posted on the Isomers Forum from Lori @ Isomers in response to a question about using serums w/ Nutritone:

When I use the Nutritone, I put a dab of the conductive gel on the back of my hand, mix the serum in with it and "dip" the contacts into it. I then use it on my face. The gel seems to stay moist longer and has good spreadability so I don't need to stop and re-apply as often.

ETA: I stand corrected!! I kept searching the I-Forum and found this post from Lori...
Posted - 02/15/2013 : 09:25:19 Yes - most of the serums can be used. The skin must stay moist so some prefer to mix it with a bit of the Electrolyte Serum.

Lyn- only because you asked. Mine is 018- it was an advanced order with white non-folding charger. I have had it a little over a week and have had no problems with it. I am sorry you are having issues with yours. I do feel so many people are just planning to use this device for the 3 month cycle and then just return it - like okay I will get free laser treatments. I could never do anything like that but that seems to be how so many people think around here. Kind of like going to the derm and asking for one's money back. Just wow to the stuff I read here.

I don't think I've seen any posts from anyone who received that style of charger. My original was white folding and the replacement was black.

I plan to keep mine and once I have completed my face treatment, I may decide to do a second round after a 6 - 8 week break, or I will wait and try the 12 week protocol on my hands once summer ends.

That is not my intention at all. I don't like the fact that I have to keep mine charged all the time and if I don't, I get almost 2 treatments out of it. And another thing, I am not seeing any results yet, so I am still not sure if I will send it back. They give us the 90 day return policy for that reason. So, whoever decides to send it back I won't criticize at all. Never thought of it as getting free laser treatments.

Hi Untitled,

I don't think any of us laser users plan(ned) on sending our devices back. Many of the discussions have been about problems with the device which needed to get replaced for safety issues. We have also discussed, since there has been problems with the device in this first round of treatments, we hoped it would not go out after the year warranty. Everyone has the right to send it back if they want to, but if they see results why would they want to?? Hope your treatments have been going well.

Gals, after 4 weeks I've finally decided to jump ship and return my Tria. I will reconsider repurchasing this product at a later date when more long term reviews/results are posted and when this company works out their kinks.

I hope everyone does have good luck with this product as I think it could be a really a nice thing to have. I've enjoyed reading all these posts and the helpful information shared. Smile

My model number's first three digits are 511 and it did not come with a CD.

Man Overboard!!

How disappointing for you! I HOPE Tria is working out the bugs, but frankly I've been puzzled as to why they haven't at least addressed the charger problem since the initial launch in Canada. The fact that they knowingly sent out so many units with the folding, problem-riddled charger frankly just makes me mad.

So sorry you had to go through that aggravation and frustration! You gave it the old college try!
