Tria: Week 11/Recovery Week 3

So today marks the fifty percent milepost of my recovery phase. I see the following:

1. Definite continued improvement in the lessening of vertical lines on my neck, and slightly more plumping there.

2. "New" lip line has diminished a bit, but still is not gone.

3. No change in the 11 lines - the old one, or the new one that developed during treatment.

4. Skin is very soft and clear. It seems to be brighter, but that may be due to the addition of vitamin C. to my regimen.

Keep or send back? It is still a fifty/fifty tossup at this point.

Well I am on week 2 now of being off Tria and I don't think I see anything. Please keep us posted on your results and whether or not you are keeping it. I still don't know if I will, but knowing me, I probably will. I keep every gadget!!!

Re: Tria: Week 11/Recovery Week 3

I am on week 2 of recovery. The sun spots on my top of my forearms are barely visible. And the ones on my face are about 50% lighter than when I started. Even my sister commented on it. And I had a long dark patch on my neck of sun damage that I am constantly covering with makeup, and that whole section is almost gone.

I will say as a long time Palovia user, I didn't see a lot of results with the Palovia as far as decreasing lines an wrinkles, until really after 2 rounds of treatments. And mine DID look worse for a while. I think from the laser burning and plumping the skin, the lines and wrinkles looked much deeper and worse. But they did diminish.

The texture of my skin from the Tria is amazing. It is so smooth and bright. The dullness i have been fighting the last year is gone. I didn't go into this thinking it would be magic after one round. Knowing what I know from the Tria, my expectation was that by Christmas, I would really see some great results.

I will say one thing. Since starting the Tria, I have become religious about using sunscreen on my face, neck and chest. I have always used it on the backs of my hands when driving, but now I go all the way up my arm as well and when I am out and about in the sun. I stocked up on the Bare Minerals powder sunscreen that I love. I have one in my center console when I get in my car, in my purse and in the house, And I use that on top of the stuff I put on every morning. Now that I am getting rid of the spots, I definitely don't want them coming back.
