I seriously hope for those who did make the investment that this Tria performs far better on the remaining parts of the face than the elusive comments implied. I just don't get why they seemed to alter expectations after discussing the eye area. And it was so obvious. Think I caught at least 3 or 4 presentations throughout the day and it was the same every time.
One would think if it can make that much difference in the eye area then it also can for the rest of the face yet the terminology distinctly changed when referencing the remainder of the face by both the vendor and the hosts. Very confusing as I really didn't know, if I bought it, what I should expect from this Tria.
I am the OP. I caught almost all of the initial presentation and some of the final one. The final one was not GREAT, but it was light years BETTER than the first one. Either they read this thread or figured out themselves they needed to improve it.
I think they are being extra careful on what the FDA has allowed them to say. I still think more explanation of fractional laser and better photos were needed. There are some remarkable photos if you just do a google search. Yes, they are physician office photos, but they give you a better idea.

Agree, the last was far better than the launch. I keep saying that if I hadn't done resarch and read reviews and already decided I was going to give it a go, I wouldn't have even been tempted by that initial presentation and those "huh?" before and after pics.
The pics on the Tria Beauty site are far better. I think they're the same people, the same photos, but for some reason they really looked so UNDERwhelming on TV.
I'm surprised anybody bought this if they'd only seen the show. There are reports/reviews of improvements in areas that they couldn't mention on air (that pesky FDA!). Too bad, because there are so many happy users out there. Well, the word will spread. I hate that someone might not try something if there's a possibility they would be really happy with the results, just based on a lackluster presentation.
I was going to say the Q (and Tria) kind of dropped the ball on this one, but they sold out over 10,000 units. Apparently everybody doesn't think like I do -- is that possible? :-)

She is a professional Infomercial presenter..
She also sells a unit that looks like a George Forman's grill....

Here is Canada's version of the TRIA presentation. It seems to explain things with more detail.

Thank You! I posted this a while ago, but it didn't get much notice. It never occurred to me to post it again! And I agree, much more info, but still that same "Director of Education". And check out the reviews -- that's part of what pre-sold me on this. MOST of the negative reviews were complaints about the charging problems. On the whole, people loved the results of the laser.
