Krissie62 and MarenSeattle,
You are very welcome! I've learned so much from the beauty forum over the years and am happy to provide a review when I can. I'm looking forward to hearing back from everyone on their results. Good luck and here's to looking fabulous!

jmachere2, I was just asked if this can help FIRM and maybe LIFT. Her concern is the nasal labials, mouth-to-chin, and jowl area. Do you happen to know? Thanks!

MarenSeattle,
The Tria rep said she uses the laser on her jaw line and under her chin so I am doing the same. Most lasers accelerate collagen and elastin production which would plump up and tighten the skin so it seems it would help. I'm not an expert so you might want to call the Tria Customer Service line to see if they can give you a more definitive answer.

Thank you! I have a list of questions for Customer Service (pity the rep who gets stuck with me). I am going to ask this but figure she'll be reined in by the guidelines of the FDA clearance. I'm guessing I'll get "it has FDA clearance for the entire face" and not much else, so I thought I'd ask the person I "know" about it. :-) I'm going to still give it a stab, though.

..I have seen reference here to EDS?? Is that a beauty type of community where people post about products?
Could someone please post the full name of this website?
Thanks so much!
As an aside--I have shophqs "Silkn FaceFX" which has the red light and is supposed to stimulate collagen as well...I use a serum w it..it gets a bit warm but it does NOT sting --there are no after effects that hurt!
Would the FaceFX be similar to this TRIA?
BTW--I think Antonella read this thread before her presentation mid-afternoon yesterday..because she came out and right off was saying-"I want to know what this does..how it does it..what can I expect" etc.
I did not purchase as I have so many gadgets...why is it that as much as I'm always on the hunt for products, etc...once I have them,...I just stop using them? Most of my gadgets don't require much time to use..yet there they sit...neglected...
Who else does this?? I know that I often feel as if I am not using it correctly...so I hesitate to use at all.

The EDS that we are talking about is this: http://www.essentialdayspa.com/forum/
I have been reading this forum for years and love it.
Oh and Maren, I also have the Lightstim that I forgot to mention.
Mine may be coming today and I will be using it under my chin and along the jawline mostly.

I caught the final presentation on tonight with Lisa and again, I was just baffled on how vague they both were when they were addressing what it will do on the rest of the face (excluding the eyes where they definitely made definitive claims) Both talked about texture and radiance (not wrinkles or fine lines) but somehow I think those ordering it are sure expecting a whole lot more than just improved texture and radiance.
I seriously hope for those who did make the investment that this Tria performs far better on the remaining parts of the face than the elusive comments implied. I just don't get why they seemed to alter expectations after discussing the eye area. And it was so obvious. Think I caught at least 3 or 4 presentations throughout the day and it was the same every time.
One would think if it can make that much difference in the eye area then it also can for the rest of the face yet the terminology distinctly changed when referencing the remainder of the face by both the vendor and the hosts. Very confusing as I really didn't know, if I bought it, what I should expect from this Tria.

Wow, I cannot believe mine has already shipped as well. It will be interesting to try. Honestly at my age I do feel my skin is quite good. Minimal lines around the eyes and forehead, although one deeper one that is getting annoying. What prompted me most to try this is that I'm getting a bit of sun damage showing and just noticing some very fine lines starting around the mouth and above the the jaw line where the bit of sun damage has begun. Just hoping to slow things down and improve the lines, brighten the complexion. I don't feel 'ready' or terribly interested in Botox or fillers later down the road. Honestly I'm not sure if some of these issues are noticeable to others but I see them in the mag mirror (gotta love that thing!!) when I apply makeup. Of course it might just be less expensive to ditch the mirror.

Wackers.... there is a limit to what the FDA will allow them to say. I bought it, and will give it the 90 days (if I can tolerate the pain!). If it does help with collagen building and elasticity, it should do more than what they are able to talk about. If I don't see improvement in 90 days, it will go back. This one does break the bank... but if it works, I think it will be worth the money. I'm hopeful, but realistic.
