I'm going to give it a try. I have wrinkles on my cheeks. I do however use retin-A and always will. Do y'all think I can still use it with this? RetinA has to be used on clean skin and Tria instructs to use the serum after the treatment. Do you think I should just stop using retinA for 12 weeks? I haven't called the company (i'm just sitting here watching the presentation on TV). Just wondering what your opinion is.

Thanks.

Hoggie --

Someone else asked this and I said that according to the posts on EDS, yes, you can still use this

BUT -- I'm not sure I wasn't thinking about RETINOL -- not Retin-A. So DO call Customer Service!

And hurry! I already received notice that mine has shipped!

Haha! I was thinking they were eager to get it past the "click to cancel" stage in case we change our minds. :-)

I was surprised to hear Jill say they've almost sold out of the 10,000 they started with.

I'm looking forward to it, too. My Friday Night Date will be EDS -- I'm going to keep plowing through the pages so we're more knowledgable and prepared by the time it arrives.

I just told myself, remember -- it's going to be tough going for a while.

I bought the Tria Age-Defying laser two weeks ago and have been using it ever since so I thought I'd share my experience. Bloomingdale's had a Beauty Day and a Tria Rep was there. She told me she had been using it for eight weeks and had seen an improvement in wrinkles around her lips and eyes. I don't know what she looked like before she started but her skin was plump and beautiful (she is 44).

She did a treatment on me at Level 1 and it didn't hurt (I've had laser treatments by a dermatologist that were much more painful). Since I tolerated the treatment easily, she recommended I start at Level II and go from there.

Week 1 -- Level II was initially painful and the pain seemed to lessen as the treatment progressed. So the first few zaps hurt quite a bit but as I moved it around my face the pain lessened. I was red at the end of each treatment. I applied Isomers serums to reduce the redness and stinging and within 30-60 minutes the stinging was gone. The redness was gone by morning.

Week 2 -- I decided to try Level III and it doesn't hurt me any more than Level II, but it lasts longer (10 minutes versus 4 minutes). This morning is the first time that my face was still red upon awakening but I could cover it with foundation. I have no dryness yet but I have oily skin and the laser hasn't impacted oil production at all. I'm not noticing a difference but it's too early to tell. My derm told me the collagen production can take 3-6 months before you see the full benefit. The Tria rep said the best results occur during the break after the 12-week treatment which is in line with what the derm said.

I was told that 12 weeks of Tria treatment is comparable to 2 doctor visits for fraxel laser. I can tell it's not as strong a laser since I'm not as red and it doesn't hurt as much, but I'm willing to give it a try since it's much more affordable. If it doesn't work, then I'll return it. Bloomingdale's has a liberal return policy so I purchased it there for $495.

I took before pictures and plan to take them each week to see if there is any improvement. Good luck with your decision and I hope those of you that buy it share your experience and results on the board. I’ll do my best to keep up with posting any improvement or changes to my skin.

I am shocked that people would buy this. The pictures of before and after are nearly identical. What a scam.

I am shocked that someone is judging a product a scam based on a couple of before and after pictures. I wonder if those who've posted pages and pages of positive reviews about this think it's a scam. Or (let me guess) they're just seeing what they want to see?

I think most of us who bought this actually did some research and made an informed decision rather than judging just on a knee jerk reaction and thinking we knew it all.

I find your post insulting.

Ummmmn isn't the whole point of the hour show to inform us to buy it????? If this insults you life must be a breeze and problem free.

Wrong is still wrong just because you benefited from it.

You find her post insulting? She is basing her opinion on the big presentation that tria is showing millions of people. Personally I think the before pics look better than the after pic. If that's the best they can do for a visual effect I'm not sold!
