Day 3 - I increased to L2 for my treatment last night and found it to be very tolerable. The sensation was much milder than I expected based on my previous experience with lasers, which is a good thing. I made the mistake of moving the laser up and down (rather than back and forth) as I moved it to my temple area from my under eye orbital bone. That resulted in up and down red lines that are still present this morning. I won't make that mistake again. My PM skincare was the same as my first two nights, except I added Vit C Ester 15 back into my routine.

Pyrex glass globe ??? Never have heard of this....info please? Glad your sore spot is better.

I have had this globe for years. I keep in the freezer. I buy these for my Mom. She uses in the morning for her eyes. I just happened I remember I had this. I think I order the last set from Amazon. You are so brave with your progress!!!

What would we Google if we wanted to find out about it? I think Victoria (Tatcha) has a jade wand-type thing that sounds as though it may be similar. And/or White Lotus -- don't remember where I saw it.

What is yours called?>

And I'm so happy that your ouch is gone!

MarenSeattle - they aren't like the jade rollers. They are filled with an antifreeze. You store them in the freezer between uses. Let me see if I can hunt some down. I've had mine for nearly 30 years.

ETA: search for cold facial globes. Photo of what they look like below:

You're right -- not anything at all like the jade thing!! Antifreeze! I'll check them out -- thanks!

Awww, thanks, Lyn! Let us know what you think after you use yours tonight. It seems like it would be really soothing and feel great!

I will. Mine have sat in their case in our freezer FOREVER, lol. I already washed them today and I'll clean them with alcohol tonight before I use them.

BTW, that Harpers Bazaar article I read suggested applying peptides post Tria Laser. It said the laser helps them penetrate more deeply.

I've got a BIG smile on my face! I'm so glad it went well. I was surprised, too, that it wasn't more of a shocker. We've got L3 on the horizon, though -- seems as though that's a quantum leap. I'm hanging with L2 for 5 days, then I'll try to move up.

The red lines thing perplexes me. I think I kind of swoop up (vertically) in that temple area and I haven't experienced the red lines. I think it was shannara who suggested that might be a result of going too slowly? Keep us updated.

MarenSeattle I think I caused the read lines, because I moved the laser in an up and down motion. That kept the beam more concentrated than moving back and forth. I also plan to remain on L2 for at least 5 days, and then I may just try L3 on my forehead first.

Hello Lyn and Maren,

Thank you so much Lyn for helping me out. I was traveling to SC today so I just now saw the response. Yes, those of it. The one I have has longer stem, however the ones above is what I order for my Mom who uses them daily. I never use mine hardly ever until this week. I will be completing day 5 in a little while. I brought the Tria with me. My ouch place is fully gone. It is very important to move side to side. Hope ya'll are having a good weekend.

So, I am joining in a little late,here. {#emotions_dlg.blush}

I got mine and I did Level 1 for 2 nights and then last night I tried Level 2. I skipped 2 nights in between because I fell asleep and forgot it.

I have super-duper sensitive, fair skin. I can't tan at all. The dermatologist told me to stay away from all anti-aging cosmetic products because they were just making my face red.

All that being said I am happy to report that my redness and tingling was all gone by morning.
I didn't receive the skin care items from the Q that were supposed to be included in my package. Did this happen to anyone else? I called and they are sending me some at no charge. They are supposed to be in today.

I have been using an Aloe vera cooling gel with lidocaine for post treatment, and I think it def helps cool my face and take away the stinging, sunburned feeling I had last night. The pain lasted about 30 min, tops.

I don't know why I keep forgetting good 'ol aloe vera gel! Do you mix it with the lidocaine or can you get it pre-mixed?

Also, I found (just went to Level 3 last night) that icing before and after helped a lot! Krissie suggested the pre-treatment icing and I don't think I'll ever do it again without it!

I'm very fair but for some reason have pretty indestructible skin. As we've been saying all along, we will each know if we can't handle it. Hope you're able to hang in there, though!
