@Shanus I totally agree with you. However, I started using the Cosmity.com it was very interesting to find that Versed which is sold at Target and quite reasonable was really clean and so was The Ordinary. So you don't have to spend $$$ to get really good skincare. Another one that was very clean was Kylie skincare.

@Katcat1 I think each person reads and decides for herself. I make many educated choices, but can't, don't and won't make myself crazy checking every ingredient...The "good" ones sometimes become the "bad" ones over night.

@Katcat1 wrote:@NYCLatinaMe I differ with you because at the beginning of the article it stated that following are the products that she considered toxic and following that were the products she now uses. I think everyone has to make a decision of what they want to use.
@Katcat1 anyone can google the article and read for themselves. It does not state what you represent.
Stop making false statements.
There is no basis to state that the Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes are toxic. In fact, the story includes a link so that people can purchase the items.

@NYCLatinaMe My goodness, get a grip. This is from the article itself:
This just goes to show how overwhelming this process can be, and I hope to make it a little easier by sharing my everyday nontoxic makeup routine with you! Scroll through for a few of the makeup products I used to use, which contain some of those risky ingredients I mentioned. Then find my nontoxic swaps. The Neutrogena wipes are listed under the risky ingredients.

TOXIC is not the same as RISKY. I understand why you are confused because the purpose of the article you read is to obfuscate and the author succeeded with you. Just because the cancer survivor considers some products non-toxic, that does not mean that the products she no longer uses are toxic. She explains that she won't use products she considers RISKY which she defines as "parabens, sulfates, leads, and synthetic fragrances (which are hormone disruptors and possible carcinogens)".
The Neutrogena Facial Cleansing Towelettes do not contain parabens, sulfates, or leads, so she is complaining about the fragrance, whatever it is. So some people may be sensitive to that, but it is not toxic.

I think "toxic" is a very overused word, especially in promoting supposedly non-toxic products.
