@HerRoyaLioness Wow, I had the opposite effect with his lipstick. LOVED the color, but it didn't stay on long AT ALL! Also, I sampled one of his parfums-same deal. I LOVED it, but in about an hour, no trace of it. I can't win with Tom Ford.

vanilla coconut donuts??? Yes please
This is my favorite type of donut: a cake donut with vanilla glaze and shredded coconut on top. So good!
Are either of you familiar with the Tastykake Coconut Junior? While not as impressive as a fresh donut, I bet it's close. It's not that you asked for a substitute; I don't know if coconut donuts are a thing here. I mean we have VooDoo Donut and Sidecar.
I used to work at an office that ordered donuts every day, and multiple people brought them in. The office also bought savory croissants and always had snacks and breakfast. I'm not trying to brag; it's pretty typical for software companies. They have food in the office, so you will never leave.
Anyway, I got so tired of donuts that I haven't had one since, so I am unfamiliar with what is en vogue for them.

@Squirrels Are Trash I love Tasty Kakes! I get the vanilla or chocolate krimpets whenever I go to a philly cheesesteak restaurant here in SF. Tasty Kakes are an East Coast brand, so I haven't been able to find them in nearby stores- but I just went on the Tasty Kake store locator page and there's one grocery store in my city that sells Tasty Kake products, so I'll see if I can find them
. I've never tried the Coconut Juniors, but they look absolutely delicious- thank you for the Tasty Kake recommendation! I'll try to purchase them online sometime. Your software company job sounds great- I would've loved to have access to free donuts, snacks, breakfast and pastries everyday
. I get the vanilla coconut, peanut coconut or chocolate coconut donuts at a chain of local donut stores called Happy Donuts
.

@SportyShorty07 @I grew up in the Philly/SoJersey area, that is where my tastykake knowledge is from.
Chocolate juniors are so good. If you can get them they are worth trying. I liked them slightly chilled from a bit in the fridge. My absolute favorite TK are Kandykakes. Thick chocolate shell, yummy peanut butter and white cake. What's not to love?
Those peanut butter coconut donuts sound very delicious.
The problem with all that breakfast yum was you would eat breakfast at home, then again at work. I am no Hobbit and do not have the metabolism for second breakfast.🥞
😝

@Squirrels Are Trash I went to art college on the East Coast and I took a field trip to the Mutter Museum and had a cheesesteak for lunch that day from a restaurant a few blocks away . That cheesesteak was the best cheesesteak I've ever had in my life! I ordered a delicious grilled sausage and bell pepper sandwich to-go after I ate the cheesesteak and it was also super delicious. I will definitely try to get my hands on Chocolate Juniors, Concout Juniors and Kandy Kakes. Your description of Kandy Kakes sounds so deliicious
. I would've eaten so much food if I had the chance to work in tech and had access to all of the free food
.

@Judaline - I'm guessing we didn't have the same type of lipstick?
What color/kind of tube was yours in and what was it called?
Mine was in a white tube, trimmed in gold and says "Lip Foil Rouge, A Levres Metal, 05, Venus Rising. I don't know if it's even made anymore.
I shouldn't have made a generalized state about his lipstick without mentioning the type, it's misleading because all brands have different types of lipsticks and glosses.

Gosh, it's been a while. I remember it was in a black casing (kinda like Mac) and it was one of his nudes but with a slight peachy look. I'll have to dig in my stash and see if I still have it. I remember not eating out with it because it would come off, so I just didn't use it anymore.

Uh-oh, big animal tester. (Ford probably is/was, too, lol).
