I used to think that was crazy too, until I bought a discounted tube of his lipstick at a Cosmetic Co store - it is the BEST lipstick I have ever used.  The color was a beautiful Pearl pink and it actually stayed on my lips!!!

I could not believe the staying power it had. Usually my lipstick comes off just by talking! This stuff actually stayed on my lips!
I only have one tube, but I love it and pretty much got rid of my other lipsticks.

Don't knock it until you try it, right @HerRoyaLioness ?

I want to try the Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille Eau De Parfum but the smallest is $75.00, the largest $890.00.

Wish I knew what lipstick the woman who used to play

on Young and the Restless wore. She played 'Gloria'.

It was too dark, but, it just looked great. If she had blotted it couple of times would had not been so dark.

Don't like that matte lipstick. I got to have some shine

and wet looking stuff. LOL

What made Tom Ford famous was in 1994 when he brought back the then faltering "House of Gucci".  It took off like a rocket. He was there until around 2004 or 05 and had some sort of falling out with management and left.  Gucci is owned by "kering" today.  They own many high end designer names. "Saint Laurent' is one, "Bottega Veneta", Boucheron, Balenciaga for instance.

His name was big and on the map and very much desired.  Many were sorry to see him leave Gucci but they are alive and well today.

He ventured out on his own and did very well I might add after leaving Gucci making a big name for himself during his tenure.  He doesn't even own the Tom Ford collection anymore either.  It's the " Estee Lauder company".  Can you believe this success story?

His net worth is 2.2 billion.  A very handsome guy too I might add.

Gucci is alive and thriving quite well because of him to this day.

I was surprised that Ulta & Sephora both don't sell

Elizabeth Arden products.

Hated to go to Dillards, but, did. They're sales women are so pushy. They do carry EA stuff.

I will remember this in case anyone ever asked me if I know Tom Ford's idiosyncrasies LOL  He must have a good metabolism.

@monicakm  Its such a fun fact! I remember reading about Tom Ford's love for donuts and Hostess Donettes in an In Style Magazine article Smiley Happy.  He definitely has a good metabolism and he eats really healthily for all of his meals aside from the daily donuts Smiley Wink.  I absolutely love donuts- I can eat 4 in one sitting and that's why I only eat donuts a few days a year Smiley Very Happy

I love everything that Tom Ford has done from fashion to fragrance and makeup. He uses great material and the finest of ingredients for perfume and makeup. Better quality things like that are worth it dollar for dollar.

Two weeks ago, I bought Christian Louboutin lipstick in Rose Exhibit from Neimans. Another designer that uses great resources.

I paid $40.00 a few weeks ago for a tube of Dior tinted lip balm. I've been wearing it every day since. I really like the way it applies and how it makes my lips look.
