What is the best eyeliner for tight-lining that will last?

I have used estee lauder blackened black and also the skinny twist up eyeliners from tarte. For me, i like a liner with a soft consistency for tightlining, since you can't really press hard.

I have had luck with IT Cosmetics tightline. If you have an ULTA you could get a single tube with no s/h to try it.

I saw the presentation on the IT cosmetics one and I was tempted to try it. It looked good on the model.

I have had the most success with Laura Mercier Tightline cake eyeliner. I use a flat eyeliner brush & a little water.

This weekend I saw something about Maybelline Lash Discovery that has a skinny brush like the tightline by It Cosmetics. Anybody use it and how does it compare with It C's Tightline? I like that product but could use a cheaper dupe.

OK, this may sound crazy- but I have been tightlining with a liquid liner. I LOVE Lorac's Front of the Line Pro in the shade Charcoal for this- it is soooo easy to use, and does not move all day long. Looks as good at 8:00 at night as it did at 8:00 in the morning! Also- it does not irritate my sensitive eyes at all (and believe me almost everything does- so this has been a real HG for me)

Good luck!
