What a difference. The second oil I purchased was less greasy and absorbed quickly where the first oil was quite greasy and did not absorb that quickly. I guess it's Live and Learn. Also, the price was about the same but actually the 2nd oil cost less on sale by $2 and change. Also, the 2nd oil had no scent to it.
Hi, KatCat! I'm very happy you are home from the hospital!
I can't help but to comment on your comparison, and just want to say that the "less greasy" is more refined.
I haven't used any of the Acure products; I'm sure they are good! But I just wanted to point out the difference in oil textures. I can liken it to Josie's argan oil and light argan oil.
The more density, the less refined.

Glad you're back, Kat! I hope you're feeling better soon and don't need oxygen for too long. We'll be praying for you! It wasn't the same here without you. (tend to lurk unless I know the answer to something)
Glad Shea Terra passes on oils what I tried some time ago I really liked and appreciate their products. I've been wanting to buy something for a while now from them and haven't since she added many more products, which makes it even harder to decide, too many good ones to want! I'll likely go for an oil as my skin's been dry lately, most likely because of hormones being nutty right now.
I feel for you all with the low temps and storms, please be careful!

Hi, Harpa. I'm happy with mine from STO, but I did check out the Acure marula oil, and apparently, it is unrefined.

Katmary, if you're talking about possibly purchasing from Shea Terra, don't forget that there is almost always a 30 percent off promo code for the site. I always find it on retailmenot.com. HTH.

I find maracuja oil to be less oily than argan but I've only tried Tarte's.
I really like it but have a lot of JM argan oil to finish before I buy another oil.

I'm paying rapt attention to you guys. Thanks for adding all the different sites you use. I get my oils mainly from an essential oils distributer and they are pricey. Quality is important, but it's great to not break the bank in the process.
I have jojoba, sweet almond, grapeseed, argan, hazelnut, rosehip seed and meadowfoam. No I'm not stupid, some of those I have in small quantities and are stored in the fridge! I have not tried marula and it sounds like a favorite among many of you. Lots to learn.
