I never thought about wigs until the cancer center put me onto them. I feel better in a wig or a hat. I don't like fussing with hair, never have. And I'm way over 40.

I just turned on the tv for the evening and switched to QVC and wondered why is Amy wearing a wig??? I didn't know that was the value for today. Good grief. Looks awful, but I've never seen a wig that looked natural, but I have seen some that were OK. This one doesn't even come close. Wow.

Maybe the wigs look unnatural because we know that the hosts are wearing wigs. Wigs are always in style. Rachel did look terrible and she was uncomfortable as she kept brushing it aside. Some look better than others and I can't comment on the wig unless I saw it in person. Someone was wondering about Shawn wearing one tonight but she is on vacation.

Yes...i have been watching on and off during the day...and i must say i felt sorry for Rachel..it just didn't do anything for her...

Yes, yes it does. I don't know anyone who wears wigs but I would have thought perhaps wigs were a lot more natural looking by now with all of our technology.

Wigs and hairpieces were huge in the late 60's - early 70's. That's when "the Fall" came into vogue. Everyone was wearing fake hair back then!

Enter the late 90's - 2000's and hair extensions, pieces, braids, fake bangs, etc. etc. They aren't just for women with thinning hair at all. Hollywood's elite uses fake hair/wigs and pieces ALL the time!!

Q4U - you are so right about wigs, hair pieces and falls being so popular in teh 60's and 70's! My Mom always wore one and it looked great at the time!

I liked the wig on Amy better than her own hair. I also thought the short textured wig looked nice on Mary Beth. I didn't care for the long bob on anyone.

I bet Lisa is thrilled she left before this TSV. I know she wore hair pieces and extensions but these wigs are just terrible IMO.
