Thanks so much to all of you. You all confirmed my suspicions about the product, and I will not be purchasing. I guess, though, if someone does like them, this would be a great set.

BTW, the ingedients include rosemary leaf oil, lemon tea tree, and of all things, menthol. I'm thinking one or more of these may be the odor culprit.

I love all those scents, but mine smelled rancid!  Thats the only way I can describe it, such a shame because I too like the product.

I would not be happy if I could smell menthol on my face. As a matter of fact, I avoid menthol in skin care because of its potential to be an irritant, as is rosemary oil

I have never smelled this product, though, and I guess now I probably won't. Smiley Happy

I did not like the way they felt on my lips for some reason.  Maybe you could try it out at Sephora before you bought one.  I did really like them on my cheeks, but won't repurchase.  There's some other brands that have similar products, not sure of the ingredients though.  Good luck

Re: The new JM Argan Oil Color Stick Library 9-pc Collection???

It's weird, I'm very very sensitive to smell and I've had three color sticks and none of them had a bad smell.  I didn't like them for reasons I discuss in my post upthread but they did not have a bad smell.
