Unaware that scents are selected for summer, etc. I just finished reading about the scent for Summer 2014. Coconut is the scent this year. Earlier I ordered from Laura Mercier her almond coconut milk body butter and spray fragrance. It was a treat to me from me. I had ordered her hand cream in the same scent over a week ago for $15 and I loved it so much I came back for more. It's on the sweet side but so inviting. anyone else like this scent? So Ladies - it's coconut for summer!!!!

I'll have to pass, I like coconut but don't enjoy smelling like a pina colada. I have some Vaseline Spray & Go Moisturizer in the cocoa radiant scent and while it's a great moisturizer, it smells like tanning lotion so it's not something I can use every day. I would certainly never purchase a perfume that smelled like coconut. Who determined this anyway?

Me me me!!! I love a good coconut scent. Right now I am using a coconut milk and mango fragrance and it smells yummy! I also love a good pineapple fragrance as well. Most people associate piña colada as a cheap car fragrance. Nothing makes me gag more (except for artificial strawberry scents). But high quality fragrance oils can really create an incredible, complex tropical atmosphere.

Exactly. I don't understand the Pantone color of the year and why QVC and others make such a big deal out of it, and I certainly don't understand anyone picking what scent they wear based upon some magazine or perfume manufacturer or whoever it was who came up with naming a summer scent. Wear whatever pleases you whether it's radiant orchid or fuzzy wuzzy brown, coconut or Chanel No. 5.

I have no idea who determines the scent for the summer. Probably another magazine will have a different scent. This scent by LM hardly smells like a Pina Colada. It has Jasmine, Rosewood, Vanilla, etc. in it. It is much more sophisticated. Yes, and coconut milk which is different from coconut oil or coconut.

I never heard of a scent for the season either but I do change scents for summer & winter. Just passing along a sophisticated scent by LM & an article in one magazine.

I had a nice coconut and vanilla rollerball perfume and I lost it someplace
