Like I said in my opening post, in my youth I sometimes bought beauty products for the packaging (did anyone else collect Avon bottles in the 70's?). I'd get something home in a beautiful box, then keep the box because it was too pretty to toss in the trash. I ended up with a closet full of useless, but pretty, empty boxes. I still have several clutches and makeup bags from purchases past -- I'd like to tell you I use them, but I don't.
