I have fallen in love with Maybelline Snapscara, comes in a variety of colors, and great brush with a curve, dirt cheap too, get them on ebay or amazon

I am so glad I decided to peruse these boards.  I am having a Mascara crisis also.  I do not know if its because I turned 50 ! My eyes cant handle anything anymore.  I tear, and they itch and oh well...you know, messy so I go without at times.                                        These are the brands I tried:

Rimmel Scandal eyes, and it was like Boom! lashes lashes lashes...but I also clean off the wand and waste alot of product.  But it was cheap so I didnt care but then I couldnt use it anymore,  just irriatating on my eyes.  I went to L'oreal Volum. its okay like others said - formula changed.  I used Lancome Definicils thats a better than okay.  I get long lashes but not thickness.  I tried MILK mascara - too gloopy, and my lashes are too heavy they wont hold a curl. And Benefit They're REAL,  that looked good also but not my holy grail.... So back to searching...

I like the washable formula, but I imagine the waterproof mascara has all the benefits of the other.

Hope it works for you! Heart

I have tried everything from expensive to super cheap. I like the cheap better!

I always have Lash Princess regular and waterproof on hand. It is my go to.

However, I do try new ones on occasion. Just finished a tube of Neutrogena HydroBoost waterproof that I really liked. I have my eye on trying L'Oreal Voluminous Panorama Mascara.

Right now I am using Laura Geller's Kajai Volumizing & Lifting Mascara Duo A625652, I really like it.
