Anyone using this line? I hear good things about this line from dermatologists. What is your favorite product from this line?

Yes @Lovevienna I use a couple Tatcha items I love. The serum stick and the rice powder.

The stick is great due to the convenience and results. I have it by my nightstand and just swipe across my lower eye area. It feels good and I don't have any product on my hands. I also love to use it after my makeup if it's creasing a bit under my eyes. I put a small amount on and dab it and it seems to set it.

The rice powder leaves your skin feeling so soft, smooth and clean. Not harsh at all. It lasts for awhile since I only use it a couple times a week. If memory serves me right, I believe there are three kinds of the rice. Sensitive skin, normal and the strongest version. I use the latter.

@Lovevienna

I use the Rice Powder (Indigo formula for sensitive skin).  I love it.  I use it 3x/week, but it is gentle enough for daily use.

@Lovevienna

I have two favorite products from Tatcha.  The daytime moisturizer and the nighttime moisturizer.  Nighttime being more important, I won't compromise.  I'm almost finished with my daytime moisturizer and have a different one, that costs about 1/2 the price, to try.  It's from Kiehls.  It's unscented tho and I adore the scent of Tatcha's moisturizers.  I also really enjoy Tatcha's rice wash.  I found a wash from Naturium that is just as good (but is unscented) and much less spendy.  I used Tatcha's cleansing oil for a while but changed to a balm from Huda Beauty and like it better.  I've never seen a derm (on YT) suggest anything other than Cerave and LaRoche Posay.  Probably because it's easily accessible and less expensive.  Which Tatcha products are you considering?  Oh yeah!  The Rice Powder.  An invaluable Tatcha product.

@Lovevienna

I would love if you could share the good things you have heard from dermatologists about this line, because I have not read anything like that.  The Tatcha products that I use feel nice on the skin, and that is the main reason I use them.

I have recently tried and loved the Serum Stick, the Luminous Dewy Skin Mist, and the Kissu Lip Mask.  These are nice products to perk up my skin but are not an essential part of my skin care.

Someone mentioned recently that the Stick that I love is mostly squalane, which is a proven moisturizer that used regularly can boost collagen production, resulting in firmer skin.  Squalane helps to replenish the skin’s lipid barrier, which helps keep moisture in and things like allergens, bacteria, and irritants out.

The Mist leaves my skin feeling soft, dewy, and refreshed.  It appears to have a small amount of hyaluronic acid, which provides hydration.

The Kissu Lip Mask leaves my lips feeling moisturized and soft, apparently also because of its squalene content.

I tried the rice polish powder and am not a fan.  It is an expensive and abrasive cleanser that, to the best of my knowledge, does not deliver any benefit other than cleansing and mild exfoliation.  I find glycolic acid cleansers to be more effective for me and much more affordable.  Glycolic acid also has an exfoliating effect, and has been proven effective for stimulating collagen production, which results in firmer skin, and maintaining a smoother and clearer complexion.  I am not aware whether the Tatcha rice product has been tested and found to be antiaging in any way.

Hope this helps.

@Lovevienna - I too use the rice powder. I use the one for sensitive skin and mix it with a lot of water.

I've used a rice polish since I taught in Japan. Fresh used to make a great one, but it was discontinued.

I see a dermatologist regularly. There are a lot of products she frowns on, but this is one she's OK with.  Smiley Happy

Hi @Lovevienna

I like a few Tatcha products:

The Essence.  It plumps the skin and while that sounds a little sketchy, I noticed a difference when i stopped using it.

The Kissu Mask.  Love this one in the original color.  The ones with tint don't seem as good.

The Rice Powder.  I use the original.  I like how my skin feels after- not tight but smooth

I have and use but don't think I will repurchase-- the Violet C night Serum, the Serum Stick, the Gold lip balm, silk canvas blur powder, the canvas primer, the treatment mist, Dewey Serum.  Nothing bad about these.  Just not favorites.  The other three I mentioned I will buy again.

I use the Rice Powder and the cleansing oil, and the ageless night cream and eye cream so far. Love it all......

I have tried quite a few cleansing oils, and I think that Tatcha makes the best!!!!

I am looking forward to trying more of this line!

It looks like some you want to know what these doctors like about this line. Dr Ellis and Dr Sheeren seem to like Indigo cream such as Indigo overnight repair cream. The biggest criticism about the line seems to be about perfume in products which seem not exist in some of their Indigo products. I also checked Inci Decoder and they confirm lack of perfume in many Indigo products. Thanks to those of you who shared your experiences

I've always considered my face to be pretty "hearty" as in it isn't easily irritated.  That Indigo cream did a number on it!  I forgot about it and the Kissu lip mask when I answered the first time.  I don't understand why people are so picky about perfume in their complexion products.  From my experience, it seems like the more expensive brands still use fragrances.
