Being a total Josie Maran gal, and having it work very good for me, I was not prepared to like the Tatcha TSV that I weakened and bought last week.  I was all prepared to send it right back as soon as it came.

But, I weakened and tried it and  I think I am liking it !

I will give it a week. I have never returned something I used ,but this is expensive if it doesn't work, back it goes.

I'm a brand new user to Tatcha and I like it, too.  I'd be interested to know how it compares to the Josie Maran cleansing oil and exfoliating powder.   I haven't tried Josie's line yet, but have been tempted.

I like Tatcha products as well as Josie's.  I do like Josie's exfoliating powder better.  However, the Tatcha introductory kit that Lisa had on her FB page was really a good buy, especially with the free eye cream included and the free shipping.  The introductory kit is always $59 with free shipping, but it is always nice to get something extra.

The next time that I hear salt and ice together, it better be in a margarita!

I tried Josie's cleansing oil, and it never really left my face feeling clean.  It always had an oily residue on it, so I abandoned it.  The exfoliating powder was ok.

I'm hoping the Tatcha is better!

So far,I like how my skin looks during the day (I like Josies too, really not that much

difference, actually) but I look better when I get up in the morning when I use Josie's

oil and Face butter

Actually,I think it is the polished/brighter look that Tatcha gives that I like.

Josie's gives me more hydration.

I like Josie's line a lot but IMO the Tatcha cleaning oil and exfoliating powder are so much more luxurious, and just feel better on my skin.  I don't care for Josie's cleansing oil at all.  To me it's too thick.  I do use her powder.  I was so tempted by the Tatcha TSV, but already have a back up oil and powder, and a Josie powder as well.

I decided to send the  Tatcha TSV,  kit back. For myself it really cannot compete with the results I get from   Josie Maran products  .
