Oooo. ouch. UMTerp, I was thinking about trying it with my Clairisonic. Thanks for letting me know, I'll hold off on that. Also thanks for telling me to shake the cleanser. You know, I actually do that and have no idea why. Now I will keep it up. {#emotions_dlg.thumbup1}

I don't know what to believe about the story. I deal with facts. Fact 1) I am so allergic to almost every single thing the Q has presented. Fact 2) I have found a Peter Thomas Roth product that I am not allergic to for around my eyes. Fact 3) I tried Tatcha on a whim. I'm allergic to everything else why not? Fact 4) I have now been using it for over 2 weeks and not only is there no allergic reaction, my skin has become really soft and I can see brightness. I am in my 70's and lucky enough to have great elasticity and no wrinkles until less than a couple of years ago. This Tatcha routine is so different than anything I have ever done but, hey, it's looking very promising and I am going to keep to it. I use the washing stuff with dry hands and dry face. Rinse it off, rubbing all the time. Apply the very expensive oil. It magically removes all make up. Not kidding. Next morning I wash my face with the crushed pearl stuff. I may be doing the whole thing wrong but it is really working. Skin so soft, looking brighter. I deal in facts and those are facts. {#emotions_dlg.thumbup}

I'm glad it worked for you. I have never thought of my skin as sensitive but I had a terrible reaction to Tatcha's enyzmatic cleansing powder so I would urge people to use caution when just starting out to make sure your skin can tolerate it. I think my skin's reaction came from either the talc or the papaya enzyme. My recommendations are to use it once a day or even every other day to start and do not use it with a Clairisonic when starting either. Make sure your skin does not react before introducing Clairisonic. My skin turned red and felt hot like a chemical burn. And I'm not the only one that had that type of a reaction. If you have sensitivities to BE, you'll probably have a reaction to this one too. And don't forget to shake the Camilla Oil Cleanser every day. If you don't, the ingredients will separate and your skin might not like it anymore once you are 1/2 to 2/3rd's into the bottle.

Sorry it didn't work for you. I've read several places that talc can be an irritant so I'd tend to agree with you and lean towards that as the culprit. While I like the theory behind Tatcha, I'm glad the enzyme powder dupe I found (Fleur de Lis) is also talc free. It's probably a bit grainier than Tatcha's, but that doesn't bother me. It costs less, there's more in the container, and no talk. That's all a win-win-win for me.
