Tarte TSV foundation brush problem

Ummmm, I can't get the brush clean! I have used Purity to clean everything from my brushes for years, with success but this foundation will not come off! It kind of disturbs me that this makeup won't come off the brush...what is it doing to my face?! Bummer, too, because I was loving this whole TSV kit and thought this was my holy grail foundation. Comments? Suggestions? Anyone else tried to clean their brush?
