I know there are older threads discussing this product, but I'd like to hear some some more current feedback.  I use Natasha Denona Hy-Glam and NARS Radiant Creamy concealer and like them both, so I don't want to add a new one to my line-up if it isn't as good or better.

What do y'all think of Tarte Shape Tape?  If you've tried Natasha Denona and or NARS, how does it compare?

Re: Tarte Shape Tape Concealer?

@SurferWife   IMO, most Shape tapes are drying under the eye. I'd stay w/ the nars. ND one was drying on me, too.

Re: Tarte Shape Tape Concealer?

HI THERE SufferWife!

I HAVE BOTH ND AND SHAPE TAPE.

I AM A HUGE NATASHA FAN AND LOVE HER CONCEALER, BUT I MUST SAY THAT SHAPE TAPE IS REALLY GOOD TOO.

THE ONLY DIFFERENCE FOR ME IS I MAINLY USE ND AS AN UNDER EYE CONCEALER, AND SHAPE TAPE, I DAB ALL OVER MY FACE AS A FOUNDATION, AS WELL.

I AM A FAN OF BOTH OF THEM!

DO NOT HAVE NARS, BUT I AM SURE THAT IS AWESOME TOO.

HAPPY SHOPPING AND HAVE A GREAT DAY!

Re: Tarte Shape Tape Concealer?

I like it--now-- I apply it with a damp beauty blender sponge and then, I tap it in. That method seems to do the job as far as coverage, blending  and the drying effect some have commented on--for me--it doesn't do that.

I dont find it to be anything special. I like the one I have from Doll 10 better, Smooth Assist

@SurferWife  I found that Shape Tape creases under the eye. Something about it I don't like. I much prefer Yensa. It doesn't crease nor move.

Re: Tarte Shape Tape Concealer?

@SurferWife - I haven't tried either of your favorites but I did try Shape Tape and hated it.  I'm partial to It Cosmetics Bye Bye Dark Spot Concealer & Serum.  It's been my go to for quite awhile.  I'm interested in eventually trying the new RMS Revitalized Hydra Concealer at some point.

Re: Tarte Shape Tape Concealer?

I found Shape Tape, thick or heavy is probably a better word, drying and creased horribly on me.  Tossed it.

Re: Tarte Shape Tape Concealer?

Shape tape is difficult for older women with fine lines and wrinkles. It will fall into creases, and is super drying. You need to prep your undereye area before using this. I know there are some here that know how to make Shape Tape work for them. It will work for very dark circles if that is your goal. I tried it. The concealer dragged, and I had to tap it with my beauty blender sponge constantly trying to make it work. It leans on the thick side. The Natasha Denoa is a good concealer but again fine lines and wrinkles are hard to work with. I actuall like that concealer.

Armani makes a beautiful concealer. I have heard great things about Tower 28 concealer. I do use Lancome All Over Concealer, and DRMTLGY eye corrector. They are not perfect, but they go on smooth and I need very little. I watch a ton of videos on You Tube and unfortunately there are no good solutions for older skin under the eyes. There isn't one that is the holy grail. You may have better luck than I did. Sorry this is so long winded, good luck to you.

@bellaartiste

Thanks for the level of detail. That really helps!  Thanks for bringing up Armani, too!  My favorite foundation is Armani Luminous Silk foundation.  It's foundation perfection.  I don't know why I haven't thought of trying the concealer.  I'm going to look at that one right now!
