Tarte Mascara

I have been using their latest and suppose to be greatest. What is happening is that the mascara is going on to wet and is messy and I get it smeared above my eyelashes and even below on the lower lashes. Than when it comes time to remove it, I have to wash my eyes two times to remove this mascara. I don't remember it being this way before. Anyone else?
