On 5/2/2014 Beejene said:If you scalp is itchy from using a specific product such as TT then that is an indication that you have an allergic response to it. I have never heard such a thing as what honeybrown said i.e. "oils from scalp being cleansed away"! What? I would stop using something if it was making me itchy. Your scalp/skin is telling you something.
Shampoos (sulfate shampoos, non-sulfate shampoos, cleansing conditioners, etc.) cleanse the hair and scalp by removing products, dirt and oils. That's what they are designed to do.
When they remove oils, they don't distinguish between sebum, silicones (synthetic oils), coconut oil, etc. When the sebum gets washed away and not replenished or replaced, the scalp can get cheese grater itchy.

Just wanted to update you that this weekend, I used the TT as my first cleanse and 613 as my second, and no itching! I am so happy - I love TT. So I know I can use it now as long as I use another CC as my second cleanse. Thanks for all your help!
