TSV CHI Question

Is the only difference between the TSV CHI and the CHI that I own (older model - but with a swivel cord) the thermostat control?
I wonder what the temperature is on the one I currently use?
Mine says straighten, curl, flip and style - which is what the TSV claims also.

I think receiving 2 is a great deal, just trying to figure out the difference from the older one I have.
