i don't use her brushes. for me, personally, too expensive plus i have brushes already. i have a laydown brush from my first BE kit for the TOL and another smaller laydown brush for the eye base and i do not mix the eye lift and eye base brushes ever.

i went to Nordys with my planner and the Trish MUA helped me with tips for application.

If you look up 'triangle of light' on You Tube, you will see a demo.

Nicky, I was wondering if Trish's brushes really made a difference in application. I use a high quality flat synthetic brush for the t.o.l. and it works fine, not doubting that her brushes are better, but why? What difference do you find when using her lay down brush as opposed to another one?

Before I got the planner, I had ordered the t.o.l. and had been trying it. I used different brushes that seemed just like the one she used. I had brushes from, Tarte, BM, It cosmetic's and so on. They were all really nice, but I always thought it looked so, so and seemed to sit on top of the skin. Then the planner came and huge difference in appearance. It was just like it disappeared but the "light" was there, pores seemed to be gone. I am really surprised how different it looks using her brush. Just my experience anyway, on my skin, but am glad I can try her other stuff now.

for beauty products - I am 54, blue eye's, very fair. Skin is normal, but prone to eczema patches.

I am confused by the brushes in the directions. I tried to watch her video on how to apply, but now it's gone.. I really would like to see how she applies the make up with the video now that I have the planner.

There is no crease brush for the eye shadow in the planner...right? {#emotions_dlg.confused1}

The brushes have names on them, #48 is the ''sculpt and blend ,

and #10 is ''one sweep color...what do I do with that?

You can get to the planner video through your purchase history. Number 10 is for eye shadow allover the lid. Use the tip for in the crease.

I thought the number 10 was for the translucent finishing powder.

Oh I see that this brush is for the eyeshadow.

Am loving her new planner. I really like the lighter Bronzer for days I really don't want to do "full face." Also like she has the names of the colors on the back of each page. Sometimes she doesn't do that in her larger planners. For all Trish Ladies, just saw she will be on HSN June 17th and 18th in case this hasn't been posted.

I agree I like the names on the back of the pages thinking about doing that to the others with a labeller. Thanks for the dates.

Hi Janie love everything about the new planner where to start, the planner is sturdier, love the black & red lining, onto the new brushes love the new #10 does a nice sweep of color with the shadows , the new green makes a nice liner, love the new bronze with the highlighter & the new blending brush that is only with this planner does a great job with the bronzer, highlighter & the translucent powder she shower a swirling technic love that trick. Love that everything is labeled on the back of the cards. This was well worth the jump.

I agree with this. I am loving the #10 brush--it's what swayed me to purchase the kit. Let me add that the Lavender Glow eyeshadow is beautiful, subtle, and easy to layer onto the base.
