I also did not have a good experience, and my husband (who is a sweetheart, but also a financial planner, so he was appalled at what I had spent!) encouraged me to get rid of the products as it didn't matter what they cost if they bothered my skin. Huge lesson learned, I have super sensitive skin now and use a lot of "kitchen" cures for my skin. I know for some, the products work and they love them- the company has great service and the packaging is amazing, but alas it all comes down to what's in the little bottle.

Tatcha didn't work for me either, the powder burned my skin, returned it. The camellia oil is a good product though, but I don't buy hers, I use organic camellia oil as a serum under my moisturizer and my skin looks great.

Talc, camellia oil, argan oil, Dr. Denese, Dr. Perricone, Tatcha, blah-blah-blah. SO sick of these supposedly "magical", "ancient", "secret" beauty potions! All of the magic words boil down to "boloney" and "big profits for the people who are pushing magic potions to make us all beautiful". Some women have closets full of expensive potions with exotic names in beautiful packaging that disappointed..........and still fall for the next sales spiel. Don't be fleeced.

I had a reaction similar to yours except that it took a couple of days before the burning redness showed up. My skin is not sensitive although some products have been known to break me out. But what I experienced was like a chemical burn or when you are out in the freezing cold for way too long. The cleansing grains have talc and papaya in it which can be a problem for some skin types. When I called to return the product, the SA sounded like she didn't really believe the reaction I had. It took about a week for my skin to heal. Luckily I did not have to go to the emergency room like you did! I was stupidly using the cleansing grains twice a day and I used my Clairisonic with it once a day as Victoria said it could be used with a Clairsonic on the show I had watched. I did love the camellia cleansing oil and ordered a full size. But about half way through using it I started breaking out. I experimented and it appeared to be the camellia cleansing oil causing my breakouts. Inspecting the fine print, I was surprised to read that you are supposed to shake the bottle with each use. Well I wasn't so I'd used up whatever ingredient was working well for my skin and the one left in the bottom half of the container was causing the breakout. So I had to throw out half a container of this very expensive cleansing oil. So an FYI for those that want to try Tatcha.

You know, if I paid any attention to people like you who give broad, disparaging "reviews" and opinions of things they've never tried, I would have missed out on some of the wonderful products that HAVE made a real difference in my skin and helped me address various conditions and problems. So I hope people don't assume you actually know what you're talking about, because you don't.
